'Firefighters have taken a break from putting out fires to instead create one of their own by raising an inflammatory sign defending masculinity.
Staff at Newtown Fire Station in inner west Sydney were forced to apologise after they updated their sign to read: 'House fires are toxic, our masculinity isn't'.
'The sign was for those concerned there is way too much toxic out there,' the fire station said in an apologetic Facebook post.
'To show there are groups that fight it … Every man needs to be in touch with their feminine side, every woman needs to be in touch with their masculine side.''

'Tulane University has reached an agreement with the federal government to stop discriminating against men by offering female-only scholarships and financial aid. The announcement marks a rare victory for men in this increasingly hostile post-#MeToo climate.
“By September 6, 2019, the University will ensure that it is not treating male students differently on the basis of sex by providing different amounts of financial assistance, limiting eligibility for financial assistance … or otherwise discriminating with respect to financial assistance," the agreement said.
Furthermore, Tulane has agreed to provide updated training to its financial aid officers to ensure "nondiscrimination in financial assistance."'

'A coalition of campaign groups and MPs have called on the Metropolitan police commissioner, Cressida Dick, to make misogyny a hate crime.
It comes after it was revealed that gender hate incidents were at least as common as any hate crime recorded by police. There were 67,000 such incidents last year, with 57,000 of them targeted at women, according to figures from the Crime Survey of England and Wales. People aged between 16 and 44 were most commonly targeted.
Gender was the motivation for more than half of the hate crimes women reported experiencing last year. Age, which is also not recorded by most police forces, was the second most common with 41,000 incidents, followed by race with 16,000.
...
Sam Smethers, the Fawcett Society’s chief executive, said the letter’s signatories recognised the resource pressure police were under but the rising tide of hatred against women had to be taken seriously.'

'The feminist mission to destroy the so-called patriarchy and to create a matriarchy instead has officially hit its peak.
...
But the majority will not. Indeed, the irony of feminist dogma is that far from being oppressors of women, most men are supporters of women. Men want to please women, not rule over them. So if women and society insist that men shed their masculine ways, well then that is what they will do. Millennials are already doing it.
No, the only possible answer to this madness is for women to fight back against the feminist elite.
“It seems to me it isn’t men who have to stand up and say ‘enough of this,’” Peterson says, “even though that is what they should do. It seems to me it’s sanewomen who have to stand up against their crazy sisters and say ‘Look, enough of that. Enough of that man-hating, enough pathology, enough bringing disgrace on us as a gender.’”'

'The anonymous email, signed, “A concerned Green Beret,” accused the leaders of the school of “moral cowardice” for lowering the standards, and weakening instructors’ ability to discipline students as they look to get further through the pipeline.
“[The school] has devolved into a cesspool of toxic, exploitive, biased and self-serving senior officers who are bolstered by submissive, sycophantic, and just-as-culpable enlisted leaders,” the email said. “They have doggedly succeeded in two things; furthering their careers, and ensuring that Special Forces [are] more prolific but dangerously less capable than ever before.”
...
"Although Micah and I had nothing to do with it, it spoke true to what’s happening in the regiment. This guy Sonntag, who’s basically the one who’s trying to screw us over — he’s trying to make his career about putting a female through the course,” Squires said. He added that he did not oppose women in Special Forces, but opposed lowering the standards.

'Four women were taken into custody after a fight at a Wendy's restaurant in Rochester.
Rochester Police say the fight broke out around 1:15 a.m. at the East Main Street location.
Police say a group of women created a customer problem, which escalated into threats against the employees.
Court paperwork states that the women became upset with their order while in the drive-thru lane. The women allegedly threw their food at the worker, then used a baseball bat to smash the man's car.
When the man went outside to stop the women from smashing the car, the women allegedly punched him and hit him with the bat.'

'It’s Monday, January 14, 2019, and we still can’t have nice things.
Gillette ran an ad you have seen today that is very similar to The Talk in that it doesn’t do much in the way of directly advertising the P&G products in question but does make some general, non-partisan commentary on a larger issue or two affecting our society.
...
In what may be the most predictable backlash to the backlash we have ever seen, someone on the mighty internet has proclaimed from on high that this campaign is offensive because it tells boys and men that they can no longer be (regular, normal?) boys and men.
The ad above is, in our opinions, pretty clearly saying that the following things are bad: bullying, fighting, being an open misogynist, and making your female co-workers feel like shit while ensuring that they don’t get full credit for the work they do.

'An Orlando, Fla. college recently announced a workshop predicated on spreading awareness about “The Visible and Invisible Violence of Gender Roles” as a part of a “Conversation on Justice” initiative.
According to a flyer published by Valencia College, “the workshop will use theater games and other artistic languages to explore the visible and invisible violence generated by gender roles and by ideas about masculinity and femininity.” The workshop, a collaboration of the college and the Peace and Justice Institute, is not only meant to inspire “reflection and dialogue” among its participants, but also calls for them to imagine a “nonviolent gender approach.”

'Tulane University has agreed to stop financially discriminating against male students in an unprecedented response to a Title IX complaint made against the school.
As PJ Media initially reported, the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights (OCR) launched an investigation into Tulane University in August amid concerns that six of the school’s scholarships violated Title IX, the 1972 law that prohibits sex discrimination.
The complaint was filed by Margaret C. Valois, a Virginia Title IX attorney and mother of two sons. Though she typically provides legal counsel to students accused of sexual misconduct, she said she was inspired to file the complaint to fight educational inequity.
"Tulane's implementation of Title IX provides greater educational opportunities for female students than for male students. When opportunities and benefits are offered to one group because of their sex… it is patently unfair," said Valois at the time.'

'A new ad from P&G razor brand Gillette encourages men to reexamine themselves and the way that they raise young boys. The ad, which is called “We Believe: The Best Men Can Be,” is essentially a two-minute broad generalization about the way that men act and think.
The ad depicts men getting into fights, standing in front of barbecue grills, and verbally harassing women. The ad also heavily features news clips discussing the recent #MeToo movement.

For the first time in its history, the American Psychological Association (APA) has issued guidelines for mental health professionals working with men and boys. That may not sound like a momentous event, but the APA is a powerful body in the US. It has 117,500 members, including the vast majority of practising psychologists, and an annual budget of $115 million. Its guidance documents carry the imprimatur of scientific authority and are hugely influential when it comes to policies and behaviour in public institutions. This edict will be referred to by university administrators when policing sexual interactions on campus, by the courts when deciding who to award custody to in divorce hearings and by HR departments when assessing complaints about male employees. It’s not an exaggeration to say this new guidance will affect the lives of millions of men and boys for years to come.

'An Oxford University fellowship that was once exclusive to women has now been opened to male students too after it came under fire for being 'discriminatory'.
The elite establishment decided to change the terms of The Joanna Randall-MacIver junior research fellowship for the first time ever after university administrators felt it breached the 2010 Employment Equality Act.
The fellowship was created in the 1930s by British archaeologist and Oxford graduate David Randall-MacIver in memory of his late wife Joanna Randall.
However the decision made by the university has now sparked a backlash from former recipients of the fellowship.'

'Yes, it's official. Masculinity is toxic. Never mind that 100pc of men probably possess the relevant attributes. In its 'Guidelines for Psychological Practice with Men and Boys', the American Psychological Association (APA) has swept aside centuries of evolutionary and biological studies. The authors claim that their work is based on over 40 years of scientific writing on the topic. The problem is, that while claiming to be scientific, it reads like a manifesto for the ultra-hard-left feminist wing of the Marxist Party. Indeed, the whole document is a political wolf barely disguised as a benign sheep.

'The time has come for all good people to wake up to the long dormant virus of misandry – prejudice or contempt for males. It is lurking in our closets and under our beds and has proliferated and made itself glaringly public in a most obnoxious way. The Kavanaugh hearings exposed this virulent menace that has been hiding in plain sight when Senator Mazie Hirono, D-Hawaii, took the platform and in a no-holds-barred blast of venom and hate told the men of this country they need to "shut up and step up."
Amid a reaction of shock and awe, the cat was out of the bag, the genie out of the bottle, the Jack-in-the-Box sprung; she had just given a loud, strident voice to a vile temperament growing in this country. Misandry has been kept under wraps but proliferates more every day – women openly hating men.
