I am Dr. Warren Farrell. I am running for Governor of California. For thirty years I have researched men, women and families, authoring books like Father and Child Reunion and Why Men Are The Way They Are.

I am a darker horse than Seabiscuit. I am running to call our attention to solutions to family problems that are too politically incorrect for mainstream candidates to address. The state is now spending money on prisons and social services that largely exacerbate those problems. Problems like:

...our sons dropping out of school at a rate much faster than our daughters;

...the long term challenges endured by children brought up by one parent

Solutions like:

...keeping dads involved in families

...communication skills taught in early grades with parental involvement

With these issues addressed properly by our state, we can save both our state's money and save our families.
