'Teachers have debated how to tackle the growing problem of “incel” culture in schools, as seven in 10 said they have experienced misogyny at work.

At the NASUWT teaching union’s annual conference in Birmingham, teachers voted to lobby the Government to recognise misogyny as a hate crime, and for it to be compulsory for schools to teach pupils about sexism.

The motion originally called for the union to consider the incel movement – which stands for “involuntary celibate”, whose followers promote hatred of women online – to be recognised as an extremist group.'

'Defendants have filed a post-trial brief in a recent $5.3 million verdict in a defamation and civil conspiracy suit filed by a former Clemson University student who was accused of sexual misconduct in 2015.

Following a trial in late March, Andrew Pampu was awarded $5.3 million in damages against former Clemson students Erin Wingo, Colin Gahagan and Erin Wingo's father, David Wingo, according to a press release from Warshaw Burstein LLP, the law firm that handled Pampu's case.

The week-long trial included 10 witnesses disputing Erin Wingo's claim that she was too intoxicated to consent to sex, according to the news release.

'Parents and students at Manhattan's Columbia Secondary School for Math, Science, and Engineering were in shock to see the return of a Spanish teacher who was resigned from the school for 'sucking a man's nipple' during a Zoom lesson.

Amanda Fletcher, 38, was kicked out of the elite school in October 2020 after the New York City Department of Education officials found she 'engaged in an inappropriate sex act' while instructing her class over Zoom.

During the Zoom call, Fletcher 'appeared to suck the nipple of an unidentified topless male' while 'gyrating' or 'rocking back and forth,' the New York Post reported.

Fletcher, a tenured teacher, had appealed the decision and DOE officials said she had been reassigned to a 'district office' following her exit from the school.

While Fletcher settled misconduct charges by agreeing to 'irrevocably resign' on July 1, 2022, she reappeared at the school on March 7, startling students and parents alike.'

'The Courtauld Gallery has been criticised for introducing a 'woke' new label on a Manet masterpiece to warn viewers of the 'unsettling' presence of a man.

The London gallery, which holds the UK's most prestigious collection of Impressionist paintings, reviewed its labelling as part of a £57million refurbishment.

Édouard Manet's 1882 work A Bar at the Folies-Bergère is one of the paintings that has received a new label.

The work depicts a barmaid at the famous Parisian cabaret club staring at the viewer and a male customer who can be seen in a mirrored image behind her.

The new information panel both in the gallery and online states that the female subject's 'enigmatic expression is unsettling, especially as she appears to be interacting with a male customer'.

''A study in October 2021, suggested that there was a 6.3 per cent chance of being suggested an incel-related video by YouTube within five 'hops' of a non-incel related video,' she said on Saturday.

'Given the amount of time our young people spend on social media, this is 6.3 per cent too much.
