'A former high school teacher in Maine is now working as a waitress after she was wrongly accused of having sex with a student.

Jill LaMontagne, a married mother of two, was a health teacher at Kennebunk High School.

Last year, the 30-year-old’s world was shaken after a 17-year-old student came forward to claim they had engaged in a sexual relationship while she was tutoring him.

She was forced to resign and was criminally charged with 14 offenses.

“The way people in public interpret that is like, 'Oh, she's gotta to be guilty, 14 counts,'” she told Inside Edition.

At the trial, the teen testified that he and LaMontagne had sex in her classroom and home. But the jury questioned his credibility, and after deliberating for just two hours, they returned with a not guilty verdict.

“I had to hold it in, if needed to hear all 14 before I could release the floodgates,” she said of her acquittal and vindication.

They claim the £7 T-shirts, in the F&F range, are unfair to men and sexist.

'In a talk titled “it’s not the patriarchy, it’s you,” Fox News contributor and TV personality Rachel Campos-Duffy discussed how she found happiness as a conservative woman Wednesday evening.

The event was hosted by the Luce Society, University of Wisconsin chapter in Memorial Union.

Despite criticism toward young conservative women in today’s political climate, Campos-Duffy encouraged them to hold strong in their traditional values in the face of “angry liberal feminists.”

“I believe that a lot of conservative women’s happiness comes from refusing to follow the feminist script,” Campos-Duffy said.

The “feminist script” demonizes women who choose family over their career and refusing to join the “feminist mean girls club” will make conservative women happier, she said.

Modern feminism, she said, has done the opposite of what it set out to do: give women options. The “so-called feminist movement” isn’t really a woman’s movement.'

'A jury has ordered a female blogger to pay an Army colonel she accused of rape a total of $8.4million in damages.

Susan Shannon, 52, who now lives in Everett, Washington, first alleged that she was sexually assaulted by Army Colonel David 'Wil' Riggins in 1986, while they were both cadets, on her blog in 2013.

She said she waited three decades to come forward about her experience because of the army's 'code of silence'.

But Riggins, also 52, who vehemently denied the claims, said the 'false' allegations had cost him a sparkling military career.
