Former Nevada lawmaker accuses Biden of inappropriate kiss

Article here. Yep, I admit, I was waiting for it. Cometh now the floodeth of reports of Crazy VAWA Joe The Squeezer handling, touching, kissing, and generally feeling up women as he has oft been even photographed doing. The Dem politicos will of course have fits trying to keep a lid on it. We'll see how they do. Excerpt:

'Lucy Flores, the former Democratic nominee for Nevada lieutenant governor, on Friday accused former Vice President Joe Biden of what she described as an inappropriate encounter when he campaigned for her in 2014.

Writing in “The Cut,” Flores said she was standing at the side of the stage at a campaign rally when she felt Biden approach her from behind and lean in to smell her hair.

“He proceeded to plant a big slow kiss on the back of my head,” Flores wrote. “My brain couldn’t process what was happening. I was embarrassed. I was shocked. I was confused.”

Down with feelgood feminist victimhood

Article here. Excerpt:

'You have to admire Caroline Criado-Perez. She may have had the best education money can buy. She may live in a society falling over itself to provide opportunities for well-bred, well-educated women, such as all-women parliamentary shortlists or women-only scholarships. Yet none of this deters the brave campaigner against sexist bank notes and statues in her efforts to prove that women are still oppressed.

Life is tough for professional feminists. You have to go on television and explain how cartoons like Fireman Sam put three-year-old girls off entering the fire service. You have to make public the misery women endure from phones that are too big for ladies’ dainty hands and air conditioning set to a male body temperature. You might pick up a salary working for a pressure group like the Fawcett Society or UK Feminista, but, like Everyday Sexism’s Laura Bates, you still have to travel the country to speak in school assemblies. And, like Criado-Perez, you have to promote your latest book.

UK: Woman loses appeal over false rape accusation conviction

Article here. Excerpt:

'An appeal court has backed the 10-year jail term given to a fantasist who made false rape allegations against a series of men and thrown out her claims she was wrongly convicted.

Jemma Beale , from Bedfont, west London, was handed the prison sentence for perverting the course of justice and perjury after she made fake sex attack claims against 15 men - one of whom was jailed for two years and another fled the country.

The 27-year-old however continues to protest her innocence and today asked senior judges to overturn her conviction.

Her lawyers told the Court of Appeal that the judge hadn't warned the jury about the 'myths and stereotypes' which swirl around false rape claim cases.

They also claimed, even if she was guilty, she should have been given a shorter sentence because she had been abused as a child.

Rapper Cardi B Admits To Drugging And Robbing Men She Lured To Hotel With Promised Sex

Article here. Excerpt:

'A three-year-old video of rapper Cardi B on Instagram Live recently resurfaced online where the artist admits that she used to drug and rob men whom she would lure to a hotel room with the promise of sex. Cardi B, whose real name is Belcalis Marlenis Almanzar, said it was a necessary practice to survive when she worked as a stripper.
...
The shocking video prompted a #SurvivingCardiB hashtag on social media, a reference to alleged sexual abuse committed by R&B singer R. Kelly recently examined in a Lifetime documentary called "Surviving R. Kelly."

One woman noted that Cardi B’s admission would be headline news if she were a man. "Why isn’t anyone talking about [Cardi B] and her drugging men then robbing them," she wrote. "Like if this were a man for example… this would be a different story."'

Professor who challenges women-only programs threatens to sue student government for defaming him

Article here. Excerpt:

'A professor at the University of Michigan-Flint has threatened legal action against the student government after it publicly accused him of “hate and bigotry.”

Mark Perry is also deploying the university’s Bias Response Team against members of the student government, which may be faster than the courts in bringing them to heel.

The dispute concerns Perry’s Title IX complaint against Wayne State University, a public institution in Detroit, for serving as “venue sponsor” of a tech bootcamp limited to black girls last summer.

He first filed an internal complaint with the university and then with the Department of Education’s Office for Civil Rights, which agreed to conduct an investigation, according to documents obtained by student newspaper The South End.'

Malawians blasts the US: ‘We don’t need aid for circumcision’

Article here. Excerpt:

'Malawians have questioned the motives of the US and other Western NGOs that are promoting circumcision despite evidence showing that the questionable initiative does not reduce HIV as claimed. Vetting their anger and frustrations on social media, the people took to task the US for “prioritizing sex” and not real development.

The US announced a $6.8 million (K3.8 billion) aid to support male circumcision which the US Ambassador to Malawi, Virginia Palmer, said has “has potential” to curb the spread of HIV.

But all the comments that Malawi24 monitored on a story published by one of the local online publications expressed dismay at the focus of the aid, with many hinting that circumcision is not an effective means to fighting the spread of HIV.'

‘American Political Thought’ course at CU Denver removes all white men from curriculum

Article here. Next thing it'll be Greek philosophy with no white men allowed in it. It'll be the world's shortest book. Excerpt:

'I can clearly recall the first day of class a few semesters ago when I eagerly began a course called “American Political Thought” at the University of Colorado, Denver.

My excitement quickly soured, however, after Professor Chad Shomura explained to the students in the room that most traditional “American Political Thought” courses are too focused on the achievements of white men.

As a consequence, he told us he had removed every single white male and their theoretical perspectives from the entire course curriculum.

This is echoed in the syllabus:

Joe Biden blames 'white man's culture' for sexual assaults: 'It's got to change'

Article here. Excerpt:

'Former Vice President Joseph R. Biden on Tuesday blamed “white man’s culture” for allowing sexual assaults on women to persist in America.

“It’s the culture, a white man’s culture. It’s got to change,” Mr. Biden said an award ceremony for students working to end rape on college campuses.

He made the remark as he prepares to enter a crowded Democratic presidential race that includes several women and black hopefuls.

Mr. Biden said that the recent sexual assault allegations aired at confirmation hearings for Supreme Court Justice Brett M. Kavanaugh showed that very little had changed since Anita Hill made similar allegations during Justice Clarence Thomas’ confirmation hearings in 1991.'

Southern Poverty Law Center wracked in turmoil, called a ‘con’ for ‘bilking gullible liberals’

Article here. After listing MRM sites among "hate groups" on one of their pages, I thought this bit of news would amuse with irony. Excerpt:

'"In the decade or so before I’d arrived, the center’s reputation as a beacon of justice had taken some hits from reporters who’d peered behind the façade. In 1995, the Montgomery Advertiser had been a Pulitzer finalist for a series that documented, among other things, staffers’ allegations of racial discrimination within the organization.

Pakistan: Sending ‘good morning’ texts to women is also harassment, says Kashmala Tariq

Article here. Excerpt:

'Federal Ombudsperson for Protection Against Harassment (FOSPAH) at workplaces, Kashmala Tariq, said on Tuesday that sending ‘good morning’ text messages to women at the work place is also considered harassment.

She was addressing a Chamber of Commerce and Industry (RCCI) in Rawalpindi on ‘Women’s Day’.

“I have received complaints in which peons have also harassed women at offices,” she said.

Tariq said that harassment is not only limited to being sexual, but can be of any form.

“If someone constantly asks you out for tea, it is also a kind of harassment,” said the FOSPAH.

She said that there should be a harassment committee in every institution and CCTV cameras should be installed everywhere at an office.'

Daycare worker arrested for restraining 7-year-old while her daughter hit him — but she says it was a self-defense lesson

Article here. Excerpt:

'A daycare worker has been arrested and charged with misdemeanor battery after video showed her restraining a young boy in her charge while her own 4-year-old daughter hit him, the Miami Herald reports.

Martha Balmaseda Marrero, 31, was fired over the Mar. 1 incident at St. Justin Martyr Catholic Church’s daycare center in Key Largo, Fla., which was reported to the Florida Department of Children and Families. It has since become a criminal matter as the 7-year-old boy’s mother is pressing charges.

Balmaseda Marrero, who was released on $5,000 bond after her arrest last Friday morning, was shown speaking to the two children before holding the boy’s arms behind his back as the girl — later identified as her own daughter — struck him.'

The Wing, Its ‘Women Only’ Policy Not Flying, May Admit Men in West Hollywood

Article here. Excerpt:

'The Wing, a women-only version of the SoHo House that is set to open its first Southern California location in West Hollywood this spring, may actually let men in the door.

The Insider, a news website, has reported that the private club and co-working space for women earlier this year dropped its ban on men as members or guests after facing a $12 million lawsuit from a man claiming gender discrimination. However, the Insider reports that other factors may have been an investigation into the club’s sexual discrimination policy by the New York City Commission on Human Rights and concerns about the policy expressed by transgender and non-binary members of the club. “Non-binary” is a term used to describe people who identify as neither male nor female.'

Italy: Infant dies after parents circumcise him at home

Article here. Instead of making it easier to get, why not instead launch a big educational campaign explaining why Italians avoid it and indeed why everyone should? Excerpt:

'An infant boy in Italy has died as the result of a circumcision performed by his parents at home, according to Italian media reports on Sunday.

The ANSA news agency reported that the 5-month-old baby was brought to a hospital in Bologna by helicopter in cardiac arrest on Friday afternoon and died that night.

The prosecutor's office in the northern province of Reggio Emilia has opened a manslaughter investigation, and the infant will undergo an autopsy.

The tragedy follows a botched home circumcision of a 2-year-old who died of severe blood loss in December in Rome. In that case, his twin brother nearly died, too, but survived following intensive care treatment.'

He molested boys? Meh!

Article here. What would she have said if the victims had been girls instead? Excerpt:

'Barbra Streisand is under fire for comments she made about two men accusing Michael Jackson of sexually assaulting them as children.

The legendary singer and actress said that Wade Robson and James Safechuck — whose allegations against the late King of Pop resurfaced in the recent documentary “Leaving Neverland" — “were thrilled to be there” and that what allegedly happened to them “didn’t kill them."

Streisand, 76, made the strange comments to British newspaper The Times in a piece out Friday, in which she also said that Jackson’s “sexual needs were his sexual needs.”

She says she “absolutely” believes the allegations of abuse by Robson and Safechuck, but puts more blame on their parents than The Gloved One.'

San Diego woman wins child support from ex-husband nearly 50 years after divorce

Article here. Excerpt:

'A North San Diego County woman was awarded child support from her ex-husband nearly 50 years after she says he left her with a young daughter.

Toni Anderson makes no apologies for going after the man she calls her "deadbeat ex" some 50 years after he left her with their 3-year-old daughter.

Anderson says her ex-husband chose to go to Canada rather than pay court ordered child support in the early 1970s.

"I kind of put it on the back burner and just kind of forgot about it over the years," said Anderson. She supported her daughter while working as an interior designer in Los Angeles at a firm her daughter now runs.

"I'm not negating the fact I was able to send my daughter to college, Paris. We traveled and had a good time. But the money runs out."'
