Serial killer of college-aged men suspected

Story here. Excerpt:

'Gannon and Duarte have done something that no other law enforcement agency has ever done in this case -- they looked at the big picture and visited each site where the young men disappeared.

While most local investigations focused on where a body was recovered, Gannon and Duarte tried to figure out where the body went into the river.

City after city, when they'd find the spot where the body went into the water, they would find something else: The symbol of a smiley face.

...
In Michigan, they found something strange among the group's graffiti: the word 'Sinsiniwa.' They couldn't figure out what it meant until a few months later when they arrived in Dubuque, Iowa to investigate the death of Matt Kruziki.

His body was found on Sinsiniwa Avenue. Plus, they've discovered the nicknames of people in the group at more than one location.
...
They have already taken all of this evidence in the Jenkins case to Minneapolis Police and Hennepin County prosecutors--so why haven't they taken action? We will ask them.'

"...--so why haven't they taken action?"

Does it even need an answer? A collegiate-aged woman goes missing and the National Guard is called out. A collegiate man? The reply is "yawwwnnnnn...."

Looking back, I probably could have disappeared for a month when I was in college and it's likely no one would have noticed, except possibly my fraternity brothers. But for a couple years there they were used to seeing me come and go at all hours and thus possibly not intersect with me for days at a time.

They would have figured something was amiss if I had missed two chapter meetings in a row with no phone call. By then I'd've been 2 weeks cold.

Yep. This would've been major news across the country if the victims had been women.

"The detectives requested that 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS hold back some key details of the murders such as motive and the identities of the informants. They hope that information will someday be used to file criminal charges."

But not to withhold the photos of the smiley faces? It wouldn't surprise me if dozens of these faces start popping up along riverbanks. I hope the decision to release those images doesn't cripple the investigation.

. . . If, of course, this is ever officially investigated.

"Watch 5 EYEWITNESS NEWS Friday night at 10:00 to find out how Minneapolis Police and Hennepin County prosecutors responded."

Hopefully they'll post this as a video on the site.

Fox News reported on this subject this morning. ABC News Good Morning America did the exclusive on Monday that broke the story Nationwide. The Two Women in the media admitted Gender bias on National TV. That was a huge moment that they admitted if it were 40 Coeds Murdered there would have been a huge response. Now more information is coming out. There are suspects. Sinsinaw was the name of a Street hundreds of miles away from one Victim where the body of another was found.

The evidence is mounting that this is for real. That the Two Detectives have now a College Professor, A Father who is a Deputy US Marshal, and a former Sheriff's Deputy as well. They are asking the FBI to enter the case.
