Ohio Woman Sought for 'Having Sex' with 14-Year-Old Girl

Story here. Excerpt:

"Ohio Crime Stoppers has issued a reward of up to $2,000 for information leading to the arrest of a Bexley, Ohio, woman accused of having sex with a 14-year-old girl, 10TV.com reports.

A search warrant revealed the girl was at Becky Jo Tatum’s house earlier this month and said she "had been drinking and had a buzz" prior to the alleged sexual conduct.
...
According to Tatum's daughter, her mother has engaged in sexual activity with a number of her friends, Townsend reported.

"(She's) done this before with my friends; I'm kind of used to it," Tatum's daughter said.'

This story really illustrates that when women are into sex with young people, no one's really bothered by it.

The woman's own daughter didn't even care that her mother was using her friends as sex toys.

The only reason she's being charged sought for any crime at all is because she's targeting girls, if she was straight she'd be free to go about her business for the rest of her life unless she ever decided to become a teacher. Then she'd get some probation since the only female sex offenders anyone cares about are teachers.

The daughter says she did this with others of her 'friends'. Wonder if this "cool mom" was doing her male friends, too. But like you said, Paragon, who cares about that?

It's stories like this that point up the huge subculture of sexuality among teen youth these days (and esp. lesbianism/bisexuality among the girls) that parents seem on the whole to be utterly oblivious to, and I am not just talking about the "inner cities", but most of the U.S., quiet suburbia and all. I wonder, did any of the daughter's other friends think this was so strange, or was it just this one girl who thought maybe 'something might be wrong' with what was happening (and would she have thought so if "cool mom" hadn't drunkenly mentioned that what they had just done was 'wrong', in a rare moment of lucidity)? "It's OK to fool around with your girl- and boy- friends. But not your girl-friend's mother. OK, so that's where the line should be drawn. Wow, never thought of that! Maybe I should tell someone!"

Talk about parental supervision/training just not being there.

Parents, go to Youtube.com and start watching some vids. Type in a few key words such as "kissing friends at party" or "school kissing" or anything like that. Some are clips from adult vids and you should be able to spot those. Others are obviously amateur, shot on cell cameras or small camcorders, and those would be the ones the kids are making. You'll be amazed (or maybe you won't) at what you'll find. And that's just from kids that have decided to make a video record of whatever they were doing and share it with the whole damned world. I will refrain from suggesting any other search terms that would reveal even more of a... lack of discretion, shall we say... from these more recent arrivals to planet Earth.

"Not my kid(s)!", you exclaim. "My son/daughter gets straight-As and is in [circle one: band/field hockey/soccer/baseball/debate club/Model UN/other] and never gives me or the school *aaaannnyyy* trouble! He/she CAN'T be into this kind of stuff!"

Guess again.

Even if she is an "equal opportunity stat rapist" (great term by the way!) she'll never be charged with offending against a male youth because she's not a teacher.

The media pretty much ONLY gives attention to female sex offenders who are TEACHERS, regular old female sex offenders are utterly ignored, except in the case such as this one where the victim is a female. Then every now and then it will warrant a blerb in the MSM.

You're also correct about the youth culture that is obsessed with such things. This is perhaps a by product of their parent utter terror of such things.

One wonders what kind of laws these children of today will create when they replace the aging leaders of today. Perhaps there is hope that one day the witch hunt will end.

It's sad because a news story like this emerges pretty much on a daily basis. What's even sadder is that like many of you pointed out, you can notice a huge bias. Somehow pedophilia is acceptable for females, provided they're not traumatizing young members of their own gender. Or at least that's the impression they project. It's ****ed up.

When I was a teen I was bombarded with the cliche "men have sex, women make love".

Every agony aunt, advice columnist, anyone with an opinion on the matter would say "men=sex, women=love".

Now, it seems to be "women have sex, men brutally rape".

And never more so than when a woman is caught raping an underage child of either gender.

Why is it...
