L.A. Times: Feminist says Hillary Clinton plays the 'victim'

Story here. Excerpt:

'WASHINGTON -- A prominent feminist, allied with the presidential campaign of former Sen. John Edwards, accused Democratic front-runner Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton on Saturday of "disingenuously playing the victim card" by infusing her campaign with messages about gender.

"When unchallenged, in a comfortable, controlled situation, Sen. Clinton embraces her political elevation into the 'boys club,' " Michelman, the former president of NARAL Pro-Choice America, wrote in a posting on a blog of the liberal group Open Left.

"But when she's challenged, when legitimate questions are asked, questions she should be prepared to answer and discuss, she is just as quick to raise the white flag and look for a change in the rules," Michelman said. "It's trying to have it both ways."'

[Michelman's bio/fem-creds can be found here. Google her name to get more info.]

Well finally, someone from "the other side" calling the Hildebeast on her game. Dare I ponder that this woman will one day announce support for C4M? I can dream, can't I?

If the fems thought that they needed to in order to preserve their own abortion rights, they just might.

The article is no surprise. Feminists know that Hillary doesn't really stand for anything.

...to its fullest by calling themselves "FEMinists"(This would include the majority of western women that follow male bashing ideals) and promoting a war against men ceaselessly in order to gain special privileges for themselves -- based off of false claims(or better yet blatant lies) of being a-alike to black slaves -- are now faulting another woman(i.e. Hillary Clinton, yet another woman) that follows suit for the purpose of gaining an unfair advantage as well?

Pot. Kettle. Black. I'm so sick of these women and their bullshit.

Following last week’s poor performance by Mrs. Clinton at the democrat candidate’s debate, Hillary’s campaign team launched a “pile-on” ad spot that accused her male opponents of the political equivalent of a gang-bang. Now Geraldine Ferraro, a failed 1984 candidate for Vice President, has picked up the theme, claiming that Hillary was unfairly treated because of sexism.

“It’s O.K. in this country to be sexist,” Ms. Ferraro said…. and she thought the debate and its fallout would rally support to Mrs. Clinton. “We can’t let them do this in a presidential race,” she said. “They say we’re playing the gender card. We are not. We are not. We have got to stand up. It’s discrimination against her as a candidate because she is a woman.”

Hmmm, what part of NOT playing the gender card did I miss? (MRA's will be entertained by Hillary's attempts to be "tough-as-a-guy but entitled-as-a-girl" as the election circus of America's faux-democracy plays out...)

There's a word for "discriminating against" your opponents in a debate: politics. What an airhead.

Playing the victim card will inevitably hurt her presedential aspirations. Having Bill Clinton defend her on MSNBC after the most recent debate shows society a weak, insecure, victim. How can this woman hold the highest office in the land and be competent enough to handle such a complex and dangerous world. It would spell disaster.

Other political opponents have ceased this opportunity in grand fashion. They realize her new role as victim will ultimately be her downfall.

Example #1 Obama's appearence on SNL cracking jokes about Hillarys transparency.

Example #2 Rudy spending 5 minutes on the campaign trail by doing his own hillary parody by mimicking her performance during her last debate.

These examples are not simply an accident. Both campaign are trying to hit hillary so hard, another incident of her thrusting herself as victim would completely destroy her chance to win the oval office. This is good poltics.

Rudys attack was particularly nasty. But he's in a no lose situation. If Hillary complains again, it would define her as a complete feminst. We already know her feminist ambition, but most of society hasn't picked up on this yet. She'll regret using the female vote as her target demographic.

You seem to think her statements make her pro-male or anti-feminist-tactics in some way. Whereas in actuality, she is simply doing a specifif type of switcheroo that feminists are good at (what I call "changing face"). If she herself were running for president, she would do pretty much the same thing as H. is doing. Or if she was working for H's campaign team, she would not only not have a problem with H. doing this, she would probably even reccommend it (if someone had not already thought of it).

Sisters, you taught this girl how to play the game. If it comes off as annoying, welcome to our world.

What do we call her if she's elected? The Victim-In-Chief?
