'A mother kidnapped her 11-month-old son and shot him in the face because she didn’t want the boy’s father to have custody over him — chillingly telling investigators she thought the killing was “worth it.”

Madeline Veronique Daly, 36, was convicted this week of killing baby Basil Stoner inside of an RV in rural New Mexico, as cops closed in on her, prosecutors said.

Authorities had responded to the RV after the mom snatched the boy and took him across state lines in violation of a court order.'
