'A male teacher in China has been accused of groping a woman while performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on her in public
The incident on a busy street in Hengyang, central Hunan province, has sparked a heated social media debate, according to Jiupai News.
The woman collapsed unexpectedly on 12 July. A female doctor from a nearby hospital began chest compressions but, after becoming exhausted, asked if anyone could assist.
The teacher, identified only by his surname Pan, stepped in to continue the life-saving procedure.
She was then rushed to hospital after an ambulance arrived.
However, after a video of the rescue went viral online, some social media users claimed Pan's hand placement during the CPR was inappropriate.
These allegations have deeply distressed the teacher.'
