The Men Who Want Their Foreskins Back

Article here. Excerpt:

'Daniel Floyd loves a long, droopy foreskin, but his own was cut off when he was a baby. Around his fourth birthday, he started having recurring nightmares of being strapped to a table with his limbs splayed out while a doctor or neighbor cut off his genitals, sometimes with garden shears. The dreams continued until middle school, which is when the feeling of the tip of his penis rubbing against his underwear started to drive him crazy. It was irritating and uncomfortable, and it filled him with rage.

Through online forums, he discovered the concept of foreskin restoration: trying to re-cover the head of the penis — essentially, undoing a circumcision — by consistently stretching the remaining skin using tape, devices, or the hands God gave you. Erroneously thinking he couldn’t purchase the equipment as a minor, the day Floyd turned 18 he bought himself a “TLC Tugger” kit, which he used to clamp the skin on his penis between two plastic cones placed around the tip of his penis. He attached the cones to an elastic strap that the manufacturer recommended wearing wrapped around his leg for 8 to 12 hours a day.

Over the next decade, Floyd, now 30, also tried pumping his foreskin with air to inflate it like a balloon, pulling his skin with his hands, stretching it with a tiny tension rod, and doing red-light therapy on his crotch to encourage new skin to grow. While reading, working in construction, seeing clients as a massage therapist (his current profession), and sleeping, Floyd experimented with wearing several different gadgets on the head of his penis. They gradually stretched the skin, but after 12 years, the round, pink tip of his penis — the glans — remained stubbornly uncovered. Floyd began to consider more drastic measures.'
