Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz fights accusations of sexual assault
Story here. Mickey Mouse is next, so long as he has enough money to "settle out of court". Good grief, soon no one (male, that is) whose name ever appeared in a headline or has more than a cool mill in the bank will be safe. Excerpt:
'Unlike other celebrities and politicians who have allowed sexual assault accusations to ruin their careers, attorney Alan Dershowitz [link added] is fighting back early — and hard.
Dershowitz, a Harvard Law professor and outspoken critic of how colleges have been handling sexual assault, was accused of having sex with an underage girl by a former witness against billionaire investor Jeffrey Epstein.
Dershowitz categorically denied the allegation, calling it “totally, unequivocally and completely false.”
...
"I'm planning to file disbarment charges against the two lawyers who signed this petition without even checking the manifests of airplanes or travel itineraries, et cetera," Dershowitz told Politico. "I'm also challenging the young woman and the lawyers to level those charges against me outside of the courtroom, so that I can sue them for defamation. ... Finally, I’m challenging the woman to file criminal charges against me because the filing of false criminal charges is a crime."'

Talk about *stooopid*
Really, they should've thought twice before trying to play Dershowitz for a push-over. (While he has often been characterized as a controversial figure as an attorney given his sometimes seemingly contradictory support of this or that cause or case, that doesn't make him a sexual assaulter, though given that he's male, he's presumed so by most people simply due to his sex.)
I mean really, what were they thinking? And by "they" I mean those seeking to capitalize off the conviction of Jeff Epstein via accusations against his male associates they hope to see converted to pre-trial settlements. Going after a top-ranked, highly-skilled defense lawyer who can positively refute the accusations against him was an act of hubris-cum-stupidity worthy of this year's "Icarus Award with Clusters of Stupidity".
Because Epstein is a convicted criminal doesn't mean his associates are -- unless of course, they are male. Then, they're all guilty. Guilty. GUILTY! Or so most people assume. But while this is yet another example of targeted anti-male victimization not to be seen as a good thing, at least maybe experiences like this shake some well-off men out of their complacency around the misandry permeating western society. Maybe after Dershowitz wipes up the floor with these idiots, he'll consider MR issues at the legal level worthy of greater attention. After all, poor guy's now living the dream! (Well, nightmare... but I'm confident he'll make short work of them soon enough. They'll come to regret their attempt to get rich via legalized extortion soon enough. Fools.)
Guilty, until proven innocent
As we all know, feminists don't think, they feel, so if anyone (especially a man) questions, or (heaven forbid) challenges their agenda they're perceived by feminists as guilty of: rape, domestic violence, sexual assault, sexual harassment, bad breath, and taking candy from the mouths of babies. :-/
The mileage that feminists and their ilk have gotten out of false accusations is legendary as shown in Witch-Hunting Males at Youtube.
It will be interesting to watch the deconstruction of seemingly omnipotent feminist evil as one qualified to do it very publicly in the legal arena appears to be ready to take on that task. :-)
Guilty even when proven innocent
Just look at the UVA or Duke cases. Any man or men accused of a sex crime vs. a woman/child is guilty even when proven innocent. Even if he can show unequivocally he was not present anywhere near the places the alleged crime(s) were claimed to have been committed, a lot of people will still think he's "just GOT to be guilty of *something*, right?"
Even if he were wheelchair-bound at the time of the alleged offenses and had 10 MDs all saying he was impotent to boot, he'd still be considered guilty by many no matter what. Penis possession = guilty.
But as for the legal can of whoop-ass he's going to open on them, my goodness, watch the mice run for cover as the cat swoops in.
