'‘I’m so lucky to have a mummy and daddy,’ she said, hugging me. As I cuddled her back, I felt a terrible stab of guilt in my stomach.
For Ruby nearly didn’t have a daddy. For the first two-and-a-half years of her life, I did everything I could to scupper her relationship with her father.
In a fit of selfish pique, I attempted to come between them and deny them the right to love each other.
It was the most spiteful thing I’ve ever done.
Thank God her father, James, fought me all the way and dragged us through the hell of solicitors, legal bills and finally to the Family Court, where he won access to his little girl — access that was his by right.
He never gave up. Such is the testament of his love for Ruby. And for that, I will never be able to thank him enough.'

she blames her parents for her crimes, and crimes they were.
maybe if she had been jailed for making false accusations and made to repay her x-husband the $$ and suffered for the pain she caused everybody ...
who am I kidding? its not going to change until enough honest people realize that 'there is gold in them thar hills'. the hills called (ironically) family law court. I believe it is still held behind closed doors in the u.k.? - gosh, wonder why? the so called 'legal profession' is the real reason behind all this misery and pain. professional ethics forbids professionals from profiting in a sinister manner by abusing/misusing their knowledge, thus creating work for themselves as it were.
I will always believe the destruction of the family, by rewarding women for destroying the family, has led to the destruction of society we are witnessing every day in both of our countries. notice the 'profession' of most all of our 'leaders' who are leading this doomed parade into desolation. today's lawyers don't fix anything if they can help it. more $$ in screwing things up, only to be 'fixed' after further expen$e.
