Is The Playing Field Level For Men In The Family Court System?
Article here. Excerpt:
'The father's rights movement isn't an anti-mom or anti-woman movement; it's an anti-unfairness movement. It just so happens that moms have most of the power in the family court system in America.
It's true there has been progress in the family law system overcoming its gender bias, though rarely is the playing field even. In order to be truly fair to both parties, courts need to be completely gender blind, which is simply not the case.
In family law, more than any other area of the law, judges have a huge amount of discretion allowing ample opportunity for biases that we all as human beings have.
Since those presumptions are frequently held against fathers, men must spend more time, money, and effort just to try to get to a level playing field in a family law courtroom.'

Wrong Movement Wording
The MRM is not an anti unfairness movement it is a civil rights movement attempting to address the failure of the political and judicial system in regards to the rights of men.
the problem i have with this is
society has known for decades that this was happening, and yet had no problem robbing men of their children, and charging them for the honor. it is wierd to me that people can talk about things that are terribly wrong and everybody agrees how wrong it is, and yet nothing gets done to correct it. now that people can discuss things where a lot of people read it, maybe that will someday work to correct things.
however, doesn't seem to be working that way with our present political elites. break the law and the media covers for you. that can't last with our present form of gov.
Is the playing field level for men?
lol,um, I think we're well beyond having to ask that question.
