ACFC's "Save the Turnips" Campaign off to a good start

From an email from ACFC:

'The Facebook Campaign to confront Child Support Agencies and their inhumane practices toward child support payers is off to a rousing start. Over 300 people ‘liked’ thesavetheturnips page in the first 24 hours. But there’s more…One basis of this campaign is disgust over how child support officials identify child support payers as ‘turnips.’ We provided a link to a National Child Support Enforcement Association (NCSEA) training program titled: “Getting Blood from a Turnip: New Farming Techniques for Increasing Your Yield.”

Apparently folks at NCSEA got the message, sort of. Within hours of the start of the ‘Save the Turnips’ campaign NCSEA programmers had changed the website and pulled the reference to obligors as ‘Turnips.’ Of course, we thought you would like to see those ‘before and after’ alterations. The NCSEA is apparently still farming, just not specifically ‘turnips.’

Would that undoing the decades of damage these people have done to families through their campaigns to vilify child support obligors was as easy as altering a webpage.'

The Facebook Group page for this campaign is http://www.facebook.com/savetheturnips.

I would love to see their document.

St Louis County FSD has been messing with me since September of last year, but they kicked their campaign of hatred, and abuse into full gear in November of 2010.

Of course, I do owe money. I owe on arrears that were generated with imputed income when I became disabled. If someone had been reasonable then, and actually granted a modification I might owe 2K instead of 13K+. That issue galls me, and that I can't wipe it out -- even though everyone seems to agree there was no way I could have made the money to pay what I was assessed, but it is not what I'm most angry about. What I angry about is this: I've never been less than 1 month ahead on any payment plan I've had with them. At some points I have been 3 months ahead. No matter what I do, I end up at the same place. With my licenses revoked, and no one in the process reasonable to fix the issue. Instead of recognizing the truth, they ask me for 2x, 10x, 20x, even 100X what little bit of income I have at the moment to resolve it.

I've tried 11 times, and 12 if you include my letter to the prosecutors office to resolve the issue. My license has been revoked since 2 days before Thanksgiving of last year. FSD sends me to the prosecutors office, the prosecutors office sends me to FSD, and no one will help -- no one will recognize the truth that I am ahead months on my payments, and they are doing this purely as a punitive measure because I caught several thousand dollars of mistakes, and asked for an audit. It was the moment I asked for an audit on the account (when my payments were disappearing into a black hole, and the arrears were never going down) that they started screwing with me in this way. Immediately they suspended my license, and demanded several times what I made to resolve the issue, and are even hauling me in on a contempt citation because I wouldn't, and couldn't agree to give them more than I had.

This makes things very difficult for me as the medical treatment I am on bars exposure to the sun. My vehicle has special tinting in it to make even a trip to the store possible in the day time (fully covered, sunscreen, gloves, hat, special glasses -- even in summer). I've provided them every bit of documentation they requested, but still they screw with me. Its like its their policy, and there is no one who does not have immunity to hold accountable. Nor can I seem to find out who to sue, press, or anything else to resolve the matter as FSD is simply being impossible to work with.

This is likely the kind of crap they are teaching in those seminars. Even their own employee told me this is the kind of @($# they have resorted to to try to balance Missouri's budget problems, but either she or the prosecutors office has lied to me about jurisdictional issues, and I don't know which.

How long is a person expected to sit there and not have this stuff resolved? I have to get places just like everyone else, and its completely unfair to me, and those that depend on me to keep this like this.
