Letter-to-the-Editor shows political activism for MRA issues

Letter here. Excerpt:

'George Miller and Barbara Boxer are running for re-election this year and it is time to reflect on what they have done. I met George Miller once and found him abrasive and two-faced. And I was not surprised when I saw Barbara Boxer pleading for usurping respect on a web feed. Perhaps she would prefer "her highness" instead of senator. The most important matter is that Barbara Boxer and George Miller have unstintingly supported the Violence Against Women Act (VAWA) while ignoring the plight of abused men.

The VAWA programs have been ineffective in reducing partner abuse and placed those women at a greater risk of violence. What had happened was that the framers of the VAWA decided to falsify the numbers by substituting their own statistics. This became evident when their totals exceeded 100 percent. Of course their most striking statistics included men who were dead and boys who have not been born.
...
The VAWA allows women to refuse to appear in court or testify in matters of rape or domestic violence. Women may refuse the rape kit protocol and still claim rape though the purported episode occurred years before. This also applies to domestic violence and its forensic testing protocol. When one segment of society has rights that exceed those of others, then that society cannot continue to exist. This notion has recurred repeatedly in our history and yet Boxer and Miller have refused remove the inequalities that remain among people.'
