Convicted murderess allegedly stabbed boyfriend's ex 18 times

'A woman once convicted of killing her lover's mate is accused of striking again, this time stabbing her current boyfriend's ex as many as 18 times and then leaving her to die.

Patricia Crowl, 55, is facing an attempted first degree murder charge after she allegedly lured Jamie Checkos to a vacant Seattle parking lot and then brutally attacked her last week.

Checkos is the former lover of Crowl's boyfriend Leonard Jackson.

When investigators began looking in the suspect's background what they found astonished them. Crowl had been convicted of a "remarkably similar" crime in 1997.

Crowl pleaded guilty to charges of murder in the second degree after she beat her then-boyfriend's girlfriend, Shawn Beatrice Wallace, to death. According to court documents, she admitted to "hitting the victim over the head with a wrench, strangling her to death, and then disposing the body.

Crowl served nine of her 13 year sentence and was released from prison in 2006.'

Premeditated murder gets 9 years actually behind bars. The only factor I can think of differentiating her from another murderer who happens to be male is just that. What would a man have gotten under those conditions? How long would he have been in jail? It's not what you are sentenced to, it's the time you do. But if you want to compare sentences, then think: 13 years. One life taken in a premeditated and intentional fashion is worth another person getting assigned to 13 years of confinement. The disparity in sentencing between a female killer and a male one is amazing, isn't it? And, the actual amt. they serve is bound to be less what with jail overcrowding and reduced time in the pen if one behaves.

Just nine years.

Well, I don't know for certain if in the USA female prisons are like they are in Canada (in Canada, male prisoners get to wear their street clothes on Christmas, females wear their street clothes every day in prison and get a Spa day for Christmas), but I am certain they are allot more comfortable places then male US prisons.

Well, this time she will likely get at least 15 years sentence and serve 10. Hopefully by then she's to old to find some sucker to date her and realize shes criminally deranged before leaving her for another woman who will be her next victim.

Once again we, the vile despicable males of this world will have to figure out whos fault it really was. It couldn't have been hers, it must of been her boyfriends? Until we purge the system of the brainwashed and delusional, at least those that have power over us, we will continue to suffer under insanity.
