Despite all the misandry, I couldn't help but laugh some. Aside from the male-bashing as such, the piece was nonetheless well-written as contemptuous-petulance genre writing goes.

Sad truth is that the human race is devolving. We are becoming less able to survive, not more able to. In a few short centuries we've developed allergies to all sorts of things we didn't have before, or if we did, we died in childhood from them ("weak constitution" would have been the listed cause of death). W/out modern medicine, I would certainly have died before age 2 from tonsilitis.

Scientists have been talking about the devolutionary effects of our many inventions contributing to our weakening against natural forces. However I don't think they would have thought it'd happen quite as fast as it has.

BTW, re the Roman legions: The vast majority of Roman citizens did not actually serve in the field despite being required to be in the army for some length of time. A legion was only 4200 men. These would have been the strongest and fittest citizens in the empire and there were not many legions around at any given time.'

Then why do women need a zillion government entitlements?

how about when children get raped by women, and men say

don't get me wrong. feminists are not (imho), shining examples
of womanhood, to say the least. and watching western females graze
and waddle down the endless malls where they slobberingly enjoy
the fruits of their servant's (mens') labors is about as close to
pathetic as it comes in this lifetime.

but saying western males are soft (in general) is very accurate.
don't get mad at me for saying these things.
get mad at the morons who act like kissing feminist/women's arse is what
we were put here for. get mad at lawyers and judges who treat men like
second class citizens.

take this woman here. misguided feminist, yes. but even a blind hog
will stumble over a root once in a while.

Who is this woman to criticize anyones physical prowess? Back in Australia's pioneer days a woman like her would have died of fatigue 5 minutes after getting off the boat!

Of course, feminism had absolutely NOTHING to do with that right? In the US, Title IX is working hard to make sure that men will never be recognized for their innate abilities like sports (and they are working hard to exclude men from the sciences as well). Anytime men rise above women in an area, feminists are quick to come in and pollute the area with feminist garbage.

Schools are geared towards teaching girls not only the skills to function in society, but to look at men with fear and mistrust. Boys, of course, are reacting badly to this and are dropping out at increasing rates.

The US recession hit male sectors the hardest and the feminist-influenced government sends money to FEMALE-dominated sectors that INCREASED jobs during the recession! Rich trophy wives are divorcing their husbands and cutting their "losses" quickly to ensure that the next female generation inherits even more wealth that men created.

Men die quicker then women but have much less funding devoted to our wellbeing.

The smarter men are no longer marrying and focusing on their careers and hobbies. They don't feel like risking half of everything they worked for to some trophy wife that gets bored with him three months after the prenup expires.

So what does this do from an evolutionary standpoint? The better of us are breeded out of the gene pool while the stronger females are allowed to thrive. This has nothing to do with men's great nature to take risks for the greater good.

I think it is a mixed picture. I would be denying the evidence of my own eyes if I was to say that there are not a lot of very overweight and out of shape men out on the street. I actually think this is shameful. I do think a man should maintain good physical strength and fitness. Actually I do think men have deteriorated both physically and morally over the last 60 years. I can not comment as to before that as I was not alive.

On the other hand I see a lot of men trying to stay fit at the gym I attend. Some are in fantastic shape. Others are really only trying to pull back a little from being in a pretty bad shape. Even some of the strong ones are very fat.

On this matter I don't want to be compared to women. Yes they are fat too but since I don't give a damn about them this is not relevant to me.

As a recent veteran, and an avid Jiu-Jitsu practitioner I'll gladly accept a challenge for this woman to fight at time and any place. If she or any of her female compatriots can best me in a no rules fight I'll gladly concede that modern men are 'wimps' and 'slugs'; While women are obviously physically superior. But until then she needs to shut the hell up. And remember to be grateful that so many men are willing to run the risk of injury or death as soldiers, policemen, and firefighters so that she can exercise her right to write this drivel and sleep safely in bed at night.

A couple times years ago I got pissed and "demanded" my wife get a decent job. Both times she told me if I didn't like it (her being worthless) she would divorce me and take my kids. Sorry, but I love my kids. I am a complete whimp around the house and I just try to not make waves. My kids don't get it and have told me so, but I can't tell them what's going on. If my wife finds out, well... she'll divorce me and I'll lose them!
