Nepal Launches Women-only Bus Service

'KATHMANDU, Sept 11 (Bernama) -- The women-only bus service operated by Nepali Minibus Entrepreneurs Association, has become effective and popular in the capital Kathmandu, the National News Agency RSS reported on Friday.

According to the RSS, the association had brought the bus service only catering to women into operation since Sept 6.

Women-only bus service was started with the request of women and taking into consideration the inconveniences faced by women commuters especially during and after office hours.'
