Police charge woman with filing false rape report

Story here.

'A 22-year-old Tobyhanna woman is charged with lying to police when she reported that she was raped in her home in July, police said in a release on Wednesday. According to Pocono Mountain Regional Police, the woman called 911 around 4 a.m. on July 7 and reported that an unknown man had entered her home in the Pocono Farms East community and sexually assaulted her and threatened to kill her before fleeing the scene.

After a complete investigation by police it was determined that the allegations made by the woman, Brandy E. Phy, were false. She was arrested on July 24 and charged with making false reports to law enforcement and tampering with or fabricating evidence.'

It is incorrect that this woman filed a false police report.
This predator committed an act of rape. And since the false rape accusation was thankfully NOT aimed at any specific man the rape was committed against all the males in her community.

A false rape accusation is not simply filing a false police report; it is rape!

Sorry Luek, but I am having trouble following you. Do you mean to suggest that the woman in this case was raped but filed a false accusation against a particular man (as opposed to the actual perp), or are you suggesting that she is "raping" men in general in her community by making a false accusation vs. a man in her community? Or are you suggesting something else?
