Boys and Girls club hosts ‘Just for Girls’ events

'The Boys and Girls Club of East Mississippi will be more of a girls club than a boys club this weekend.

The organization will be hosting "Just for Girls" Events this evening and Saturday morning.

Girls aged 9 through 18 are invited to attend both events for free.'

Sounds just like the Boy Scouts. They now allow females in, but the Girl Guides don't allow males. Do the boys get a "Just for Boys" day too? I highly doubt it.

I'll bet those Boys and Girl Clubs started as Boys Clubs. First boys clubs, then boys and girls, then females dominate, then boys excluded, then the name change. See any ads for the YMCA lately? Three times more women than men pictured in them. Saw one ad with no males at all! What about the YWCA?
