Reverse racism, sexism will not bring about social justice

'We have made great progress in America to move closer toward realizing the ideals of our Declaration of Independence, but many obstacles remain in creating a more perfect union. Yet, to overcome these challenges, should we participate in the same discriminatory practices of those who sought to keep us down, or do we work diligently and courageously to make our country a better place for all people? Is the goal of social justice even possible if we erode the pillars of justice for others? Are we not abating the equality of all people when practicing reverse racism and sexism? For many progressive-socialists, reverse discrimination is viewed as an acceptable remedy for a society which they believe is inherently unequal.'
