Woman accused of stabbing boyfriend

'A city woman is accused of stabbing her boyfriend in the hand during a spat, causing minor injury, police said.

Marta Griffin, 36, of 7 Fairmount St., was arrested shortly after the incident, which took place around 11:20 a.m. Tuesday, police said. She faces felony, domestic violence charges of first-degree assault and criminal threatening.

Her boyfriend was treated at the scene by medical personnel, police said.'

It is good that the boyfriend survived the attack. Now he has the golden opportunity to review his actions and callous disregard for the feelings of Ms Griffin. This could be the catalyst for him to make amends by dropping charges and helping her get the help she so richly deserves. He will be a real man and a better more sensitive man for doing so.

when he follows your advice and she finishes the job she attempted?
How come when a a female does this we must always blame the victim of the attack and dismiss the perpetrators actions and choices? Do these women really have no options but to resort to violence or should we be holding them accountable for their choices to ignore the countless non-violent options to resolve their issues that were available to them and punish them accordingly for choosing to make the choice of attacking another individual instead of choosing to act like an adult human with choices and control over their actions?
