"Power Pipeline Program" for women only

This group is promoted in companies, but men are not allowed. If you contact the organization they will say men may apply. If you ask if any men have attend, you get no answer. A company in my city promotes the program and tell men they cannot apply even though the company policy is not to discriminate against men.

Women are promoted as a result of being apart of this seminar in my company.

Does that program teach women how to stop "opting-out" of work?

I've been in several large corporations where women's mentoring programs were very common and were advertized in internal program listings. There were no such programs for men.

I asked about that at the time and there were no answers provided...other than "its just for women"....

for several very large companies throughout the years.
NEVER have i noticed anyone making substantially more
$$ than those equally qualified , no matter the race,
gender, or whatever. that would be except for those promoted by affirmative
action, or maybe because a parent or brother or the like
was helping pull them up from above.

what we worker bees do see is certain categories of people
using whatever is at hand to constantly make excuses to garner
sympathy for more and more and more handouts. there doesn't
appear to be any end to it. myself, and others, have learned
to abhor these frequent, predictable and patently pathetic individuals
(or groups) and their lame theatrics.
