Teacher Charged With 'Sex' With 10-YO Boy

Story here. Excerpt:

'DURHAM (WTVD) -- A Creekside Elementary teacher's assistant charged with having sex with a student made her first court appearance Thursday morning.

The Durham Police Department says Gina Marie Watring, 40, had intercourse with the child on at least two occasions in April - the first, three weeks ago and a second last Tuesday. It would not comment about where the incidents happened.

A source told Eyewitness News the victim is a 10-year-old boy.'

This is the same stupid community that 'Nifonged' the Duke University Lacrosse Players Hoax. North Carolinian's seem to have a serious kink when it comes to sex.

At least the woman was identified and pictures posted and have yet to read any asinine comments about the "lucky guy" 10 year old.

Some improvement over the standard reporting procedures when a female rapes an underage male.

this has been going on and being covered up
throughout history. women have always done this and have always gotten away with it.

time for some "equal justice".

I don't understand. How does a woman get her rocks off with a 10 year old boy? I mean, a boy at that age is...small. How does a female get any sexual satisfaction from that?

OR...is it the POWER factor that women accuse men of?

I am not trying to be crude, and I hope I don't offend anyone by asking this, but is it possible for a ten year old to have an erection and sexual intercourse? Whenever I have heard about 'sex' and boys younger than 13, I assumed they were speaking about something other than normal heterosexual intercourse.

The crime is just as severe, whatever the case,(might even be more humiliating for the victim if it is some other form of sex act). As a mother raising boys, I would just like to know if it is possible and I have always been too embarrassed to ask.

To answer the question above about how a woman would 'get off' on rape of a child, I would guess that it is similar to a male rapist. It is more about control and humiliating the victim rather than physical sexual satisfaction (many male rapist have no problem getting woman who are willing to have consensual sex).

As far as an adult preying on a child I would say that these pedophiles have an emotional immaturity or have insecurities about interacting with adults their own age.

....But I'm no psychologist.

Yes it is possible. Boys can have erections even as babies. Morning erections for example are very common throughout childhood. But having an erection obviously does not legally equate to consent being given. If a woman were to "take advantage" of the boy and his erection when present then yes, intercourse would also be possible - though it would not proceed as far as ejaculation if it were a younger boy (before onset of puberty).

It's probably the same reason a man gets his rocks off with a 10 year old girl. He's mentally ill. Something in his body never grew up with the rest of him and he is still attracted to very young women.

That being said, I believe this woman should be treated just as harshly as a man in the same situation. Because she is a woman, they are much more likely to let her go or use some petty excuse (or even blame a man).

The problem is BinaryShadow is she won't be treated as harshly as a man.

It is the forbidden fruit syndrome for women.
Refer to the Biblical story of Eve being drawn to the forbidden fruit and eating it just because it was forbidden.
Make something forbidden and women are for the most part are drawn to it.

I tend to think women pedophiles have different motives than male pedophiles. They probably both lack the mature intellect needed to have a relationship with people their own age, but I think a woman has more of a need to feel attractive and desired than a man does. So in a forbidden relationship she would think of it as her attractiveness was so appealing that HE couldn't help himself. Of course it is untrue, but a sick mind might think that way.

BTW, I'm not a therapist, but I play one on the internet.

PS to digitalhermit: Thanks for the explanation.

I agree with oregon dad:

this has been going on and being covered up
throughout history. women have always done this and have always gotten away with it.

In fact, many of the acts women routinely take for granted with their sons would be considered molestation and/or sexual abuse if men did them with their daughters. For instance, watching the pediatric physical of their 14-yr-old sons, hernia exam and all. Try to imagine a father casually watching the pelvic exam of his 14-yr-old daughter! Women (mothers, female relatives, sitters, etc.) have historically denied/discouraged sexual modesty in their male charges; these rapes are just the logical end product of that behavior.

(In retrospect, this post probably belongs in the "Are women pedophiles?" thread. Just figured I'd add to oregon dad's post.)
