'I can hear all the female whining already about the Lingerie Football League*. Please, ladies, spare me the hypocrisy.

You'll whine about female exploitation. How women are being "objectified." How men only care about their bodies and not their other wonderful assets. How men will only go to these games to ogle. How this new football league is only an excuse for men to go out and be lechers, that this football league is nothing more than a glorified strip club, minus the pole dancing.

Pretty profound stuff, huh? Please.

Fact is, women do exactly the same thing with men. But men don't whine about it.'

Forget about the fact women look at men, women ogle women as well. Many women will be tuning in to watch Lingerie football for sexual titilation. Many women keep hidden from men that they fancy girls and even sleep with them behind their back. Lets not pretend that women aren't checking out all this so called men's entertainment. The real hypocrisy is that women are ogling other women for sexual kicks but at the same time are demonising men for doing the same thing they're doing.

The argument usually states, or implies, that men are shallow and focused only on sex, while women are sensitive and consider other non-sexual characteristics.

What are those characteristics? Usually the size of his wallet and his ability to make her life comfortable with no effort on her part (except temporarily appealing to his alleged shallow nature).

Oh, woman! Such a model of virtue!
