Mother guilty of feeding cocaine to toddler

'A 26-year-old mother has been convicted of steadily giving her toddler cocaine over 14 months, finally administering a near-lethal dose that left him brain-damaged.

"It's difficult to see what would motivate her to give him cocaine, possibly to stop his crying, or to get him to sleep, or to control him. Was it to punish him or to get back at the father?" Justice Tamarin Dunnet said yesterday.

The Scarborough woman, who cannot be named to protect the identity of her son, also intentionally fractured a number of her son's ribs over time and failed to take him to hospital for a broken forearm, the judge said.

Cocaine levels discovered in the 2-year-old in testing at Hospital for Sick Children were so high that if he were an adult, he would be in the top 5 per cent of users, an expert testified.'

Oh come on! You can convict women of all kinds of gross crimes but they will get the "pussy pass" and get treatment whereas a man getting convicted of the same thing will get jail time.

Women actually getting "convicted" is a step up but the punishment is non-existent in too many cases.

Here are a few cases of heinous crimes against children where a man would have gotten the death sentence and deservedly so.

IN 2003 KILLED TWO CHILDREN ONE AGED 6 AND THE OTHER AGED 8 BY BASHING THEM IN THE HEAD WITH A ROCK. TRIED TO KILL A 14 MONTH OLD INFANT THE SAME WAY BUT HE SURVIVED HOWEVER WILL BE HANDICAPPED FOR LIFE BECAUSE OF HIS INJURIES IN THE ATTEMPTED MURDER.
FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY.

DENA SCHLOSSER

IN 2004 MURDERED A 14 MONTH OLD INFANT BY CUTTING OFF ITS ARMS WITH A BUTCHER’S KNIFE. CHILD BLED TO DEATH.
FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. INSANITY CURED AND RELEASED 2008 WITH NO CRIMINAL RECORD.

IN 2001 ANDREA YATES MURDERED 5 CHILDREN BY DROWNING THEM IN A BATHTUB; SEE LIZA DIAZ. INITIALLY CONVICTED OF MURDER BUT LATER RETRIED AND FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. HER NEW ROOMMATE IS (WAS) DENA SCHLOSSER. ANDREA WOULD PROBABLY BE DECLARED CURED RELEASED BY NOW IF HER CASE WAS NOT STILL IN THE PUBLIC EYE.

AGAIN and AGAIN and AGAIN - to protect the child?

FINLLY someone moves to protect the child.

how convenient, and timely.

don't remember them too oft failing to name a good father

wrongly accused of rape, murder, molestation or whatever.

the man is named, blamed and shamed, along with his poor family.

but a monster like this can't be named?
