Art Fights Violence Against Women
Article here. What do you guys think of the painting? Excerpt:
'DADE CITY - When it comes to educating people about domestic violence and sexual assault, Sunrise of Pasco County can get pretty creative.
The nonprofit organization, which helps victims deal with abuse, is organizing performances of "The Vagina Monologues" next month and is inviting local artists to submit artwork that can be displayed at the shows.
...
Sunrise is also presenting a one-man show Friday that deals with sexual assault and dating violence. Comic Ben Atherton-Zeman will perform "Voices of Men" at 7 p.m. Friday at the Pasco Middle School Auditorium, 13925 14th St.
In his performance, Atherton-Zeman shows men how they can become part of the solution in ending violence against women.'

Painting Background
Is it just me, or do the eyes behind the woman in the painting look like Obama's?

The Perfect Valentine's Day Gift...
...at least for a feminist:
A cross.
That way when everybody finally stops paying attention to their man-phobia, vaginaphilia, self-pity and attention whoring, they can crawl on up and nail themselves to it.
(Yes, I liberated that from The Ref, God bless Dennis Leary and Kevin Spacey).
As for the picture, what do I think? I think "screw you too, you racist, bigoted, manhating pigs". Notice the black-male perp stereotype and the poor, white, female victim stereotype? Who painted that, the local KKK? Is there any more hate they could possibly work into that picture? Oh yeah, if you're not a Christian they're not interested in helping you either.
I'm all for reducing the level of violence against PEOPLE. Women AND men. But not these clowns. They only care about you if you have a vagina. Guess what: the feeling's mutual.
How well would it go over if white men held a "stop the violence against whites" event? That's right, everyone in the brainwashed, politically-corrected world would lose their fragile little minds.
Men are more likely to be victims of domestic violence than women. Men are just as likely to suffer sexual violence and abuse, given the level of sexual exploitation of men in schools and prisons.
When these assholes get serious about stopping ALL domestic violence, including the 60% caused exclusively by women, or reducing ALL violence, 90% of which is directed at men, I'll start paying attention. Until then they can stick their heads back into their vaginas and suffocate for all I care.
you're right
those are the eyes of bho.
wonder if they will edit out the part of the vagina
homologs where the old lez rapes the minor girl?
guess we shouldn't be surprised so many women
and manginas don't have a problem w/ women
(teachers) having sex w/ minor male children.
and they REALLY seem to prefer them VERY young,
these days. this isn't new, by the way. back in the day
one of my female teachers was having a regular "go"
at one of my male classmates. we didn't think
him so lucky. she was a skank.
Define assumption
Wow, I din't realize that in our pursuit of stopping violence against men AND everyone else, that it was okay by word or voice to perpetuate the myth that all men are violent by spewing the garbage I've read in the comments so far.
So what? It's art. Anyone of you have an art degree?
Has anyone stopped you from having a rally to stop violence against men or otherwise? Have you donated time money or energy to build a shelter for male victimas of domestic violence? Or are you too busy being outraged by media articles (which by the way are biased by what few see as acceptable, and force-fed to the masses) from small southern towns you know nothing about? What have you done lately?
If you want to stop people from being angry and violent towards our gender, stop objectifying and name-calling "the other side". This isn't a war it's human relations. What you need to do is stop being SO offended and be more human.
