UK: Judge says the boy 'seduced her' as 39-YO married woman walks free

Story here. Excerpt:

"A judge caused outrage yesterday after he refused to jail a woman who had sex with a 14-year-old boy and instead told her: 'He seduced you.'

Sharon Edwards, 40, bombarded the boy with as many as 50 text messages and emails a day, offered to buy him cocaine and regularly lured him into her bed.

Yet she walked free from court yesterday after Judge Peter Fox QC said the married housewife was an unhappy woman who was unable to resist the advances of a child.'

Shall I be the first to say "if the sexes had been reversed..."?

'Unhappy woman' indeed! I feel pretty unhappy quite a bit of the time. Is it ok for me to have sex with a 14 year old girl?

Women like this want equal rights but aren't interested in equal responsibilities.

I challenge anyone anywhere in the Western world to walk down any street on any given day where there are teen aged people and observe them and ask yourself; based on what you observed which gender appeared to be doing more seducing, the boys or the girls?

This is a simple, fast experiment that can be performed anywhere at any time. Though be mindful of your surroundings if you are male attempting this as others in the area may think it prudent to call the police or some such nonsense.

But if this judgment stands I suspect it may reopen the debates from a couple decades ago when all this rape hysteria lunacy was being coded into law; that sometimes teens are the sexual aggressors in cases involving teens and adults. This idea was of course rejected as the laws we have today were written, but this judgment appears to set a legal precedent re-opening an old debate.

The judge had a hard decision to make. Which child should he hold responsible? ;>)
