she would have been held for more if she'd harmed a manatee
$7500 bond for "great bodily harm"? I'm really not kidding about the manatee..I used to live in Florida, anyone who messes with them gets in big trouble.

Yeah, no doubt
I wonder what kind of punishment they have for a man pouring scalding hot water on a woman's vagina and breasts? It's probably a lot more severe than what they gave this c*nt.

Expected Result
After years of watching men getting hit in the groin area on tv this is the natural and expected result. Attack the groin area of a man and nothing really happens to you legal wise. It is really just a big joke.
Bail set at $7500 really means 10% or $750 and she is out. Of course I would doubt that a restraining order has been issued against her and she probably went back to the scene of her crime. Notice that she was not charged under any domestic violence statute.
Also, this victim of domestic violence may not have had enough insurance to cover the expense of being flown presumably by helicopter to a Tampa hospital. The cost of a medi vac flight can run into the $10K plus range easily. Other related expenses of treating second degree burns can be expensive also. It is a high probability that the uncovered medical costs will be passed on to the taxpayer.
Yet another incident of a
Yet another incident of a woman maiming her significant other, and yet the word "Domestic Violence" is no where to be found. I thought that since October is domestic violence awareness month that at the very least the word would be mentioned.
Oh yea, I forgot the victim is a man; so I guess his suffering doesn't matter.
So I have to ask
Does the name Stella Liebeck ring any bells? She got how many millions for burning her... nethers?
