Phyllis Schlafly: Feminists against Palin - shame on you

Article here. Excerpt:

'Oh, the unfairness of it all! Steinem bemoaned that women find it so "difficult to be competent and successful and be liked." Au contraire, Hillary and women like her are not disliked because they are competent and successful, but because they are chip-on-the-shoulder feminists, living in an unhappy world of their own making and spreading their discontent like a virus. Feminists convey a notion of entitlement, as though they deserve special privileges today because of wrongs in past years that no one any longer can remember, such as women not having the right to vote. The bad attitude of victimhood is indoctrinated in students by the bitter feminist faculty in university women's studies courses and even in some law schools. Victimhood is nurtured and exaggerated by feminist organizations using their tactic called "consciousness raising," i.e., retelling horror stories about how badly some women have been treated until small personal annoyances grow into societal grievances.'

I liked Anthony's post. I would like to say one thing which I hope others will keep in mind. That is how easy it has been for the feminists to accomplish all they want. Others have tried to do what the feminist have done using the same methods such a 'conscience raising' but with no where near the same success. Whereas the feminists have swept all before them. For me this is because what they seek comes from something very deep and instinctive in women. It is not just something passing but comes from deep within women's thinking. For my part all I can say it is my belief that women hate men and are incapable of any feeling towards them that is not aimed at their own advantage.

Of course a feminist is going to be more in favor of a powerful, liberal, honorary woman (or two) than a Republican, when voting for high office. Schlafly's problem here is that she doesn't understand that feminism is an ideology, with long-term goals. She's effectively looking at the issue with blinders on, seemingly focusing on the immediate, "personal" aspects.

There may be some comfort from history for those who look at how other systems have crumbled. But that does not mean than feminism is about to crumble. It can take hundreds of years for this to happen. Even if the time scale is decades that's more than enough to see most of us long dead and gone.

but that doesn't mean I can't do anything about it.

Good post, although I have to disagree that women hate men.

They simply want control and power.

They used to live in the back of caves with their children while men ventured out to hunt and bring back food.

Now they want to have the best of both worlds. The safety of the cave, provided by men. And a safe adventure outside of the cave. Called a "career."

Really, women are psychologically just like children.

What they feel is always paramount, and reason is seldom to be found.

That's why feminists must always insist on people referring to every female as a woman. It's like they inherently know they are extremely childish and sometimes just downright stupid.
