Column on the judicial bias vs. boys statutorily raped by female teachers

'A New Jersey Superior Court Judge shocked observers during the sentencing hearing of a 43-year-old female teacher who had pleaded guilty to second-degree sexual assault with a 13-year-old boy many times over a six-month period.
...
I will give one example, but there are many cases, of bias against male sexual offenders versus females. A male teacher who had sex with three teenage female students was sentenced to 26 years in prison while the next day, a female swimming coach who had an “affair” with an 11-year-old boy and sexual “encounters” with two others got 30 days. Not only is there bias against male offenders, there is the mistaken belief that male victims do not suffer short-term and long-term trauma. It is egregious to think that boys suffer less harm when sexually abused at such a young age than girls. Children, boys as well as girls, are losing their childhood.'

in the judges car might just 'send a message'.
This 'opinion' on the part of the judge is criminal.
He is not enforcing the written laws on pedophilia and sexual assault.
The people need to make it clear to this judge that this does not cut it.
The system is failing the people.
I'm not a radical, but this guy should not have the right to sit on the bench. PERIOD.

Haven't there been like a billion studies that say a child, whether male or female, that is abused almost universally becomes an abuser as well?
And this judge should be tossed off the bench. This was a clear-cut case of legislating from the bench, which the Constitution is supposed to prohibit.
Did anyone check this guys chambers? There's probably a few kids hidden in there for court recesses.
Boys supposedly don't get
Boys supposedly don't get traumatised because they see having sex with an older woman as a conquest. I read that where girls have sex with an older man, they tend to see him as their boyfriend. Does this make them any more vulnerable than boys?
Does this relate to girls as well?
Some of the legislators should remember when they were that age. Maybe these ages have to be changed a little bit.
The judge didn't mention that this remark relates particularly to boys. Moreover, he explicitly said "ages" in plural. Maybe he meant that the consent age for both sexes must be decreased? In such case - nothing wrong with it.

This scumbag judge needs to either back a proposal to lower the age of consent to 13 for both boys and girls, or apply a non-biased, gender-neutral sentence on the perp.
