Sounds like a series of episodes of "PRE-partum depression" :->

As an alternative scenario, the boyfriend could be to blame - perhaps in each case, he drugged her, then forced an abortion on her. Then he hid the fetus, and after she sobered up the next day, she never even knew she had been pregnant.
