VA governor: Abortion post-birth should be lawful

Article here. If the elites of the world are not out to reduce the population by any means possible, I wonder just what are they doing? Excerpt:

'Virginia Gov. Ralph Northam (D.) commented Wednesday about a controversial 40-week abortion bill and in so doing said the law allows an abortion to take place after the infant's birth.

"If a mother is in labor, I can tell you exactly what would happen. The infant would be delivered. The infant would be kept comfortable. The infant would be resuscitated if that’s what the mother and the family desired, and then a discussion would ensue between the physicians and the mother," Northam said, alluding to the physician and mother discussing whether the born infant should live or die.

A Democratic lawmaker in the Virginia House of Delegates proposed a bill Tuesday that would allow abortions through the end of the third trimester of pregnancy. The video of Delegate Kathy Tran presenting her bill led to an exchange where she admitted that her bill would allow for a mother to abort her child minutes before giving birth.

"How late in the third trimester could a physician perform an abortion if he indicated that it would impair the mental health of the woman?" Majority Leader Todd Gilbert (R.) asked.'

I have to wonder: how do judges still with straight faces tell men they are responsible for the children women choose to give birth to?

Also, how did the people of VA elect this monster? Were they just asleep during the TV ads that said "Vote for me because I think it's OK to kill babies!"?

Yes, the Dems are nuts. But previously I thought of them as being nuts in the SJW sense: they got religion and now reasoning with them isn't really possible.

But when the Dem. gov. of a significant state like VA actually talks seriously about neonatal infanticide as a pro-woman "progressive" idea, I do have to ask myself: have at least SOME Dems gone bat-shit crazy? I mean... totally tonto?

Jesus Christ, I thought this was a joke until I read it all.

It's not whether this actually gets approved and pushed into law that counts - it's that this is seen as an acceptable idea to talk about. It's a simple three step slippery-slope:
1. It's okay to abort males before they are born (because it's a woman's right)
2. It's okay to kill males just after they are born (because - it is?)
3. It's okay to kill males at any time.

What a wonderful new world we live in...

lots of things go wrong during abortions. sometimes babies just slip out and I've heard nurses on tv say they kill them anyways, then often sell their body parts. partial birth abortions involve either taking a scissor-like tool and cutting them into pieces, or they use an instrument, pierce the skull and then vacuum out the brains. just 2 methods. can't sell the organs if they mutilate them tho. note that the birth is halted w/ the baby partly out into the world in the pba. i'm holding my breath for the next feminist inspired stupidity to be helped along by some class A manginas. it really looks like 'the donald' won't have any trouble next election w/ this assortment of loons. remember, it was recently proven that he fetus can feel pain, even more acutely than full term people.

I guess this is just a logical extension of the common feminist view that the rights and lives of children are subsumed to those of women.
Supposedly progressive feminism has propelled society back to the bad old days when children were regarded as property and a parent had the right of life or death over their children. That's progress?
