Bloomberg Booed For Blasting ‘Safe Spaces’ During College Commencement Speech

'Former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg may not have been terribly popular in his hometown back when he was touting the importance of a soda ban, but now he has taken his act on the road.

The one time possible Presidential contender gave a commencement address this weekend to the University of Michigan and was faced with boos and jeers from the audience at the frail suggestion that so-called college “safe spaces” are a bad idea. In his address, Bloomberg blasted the PC culture on many campuses, telling the crowd, “Keeping an open mind to new ideas is essential to your professional success — just as it’s crucial to our collective future as a democratic society.”

While some in the Ann Arbor crowd supported the former Mayor’s assertions, many can be heard booing loudly at the suggestions for broad-mindedness and receptivity to contrary ideas. Bloomberg said at one point, “We are witnessing a disturbing change in the nature of American politics: a rise in extreme partisanship and intolerance for other views.”'

these affirmative action, poorly educated loons will have their own safe space, right under the local bridge or shelter w/ the rest of the homeless. oh, that's right, this generation of losers will still have their mom's basement.

somebody needs to tell the courts about our white male privilege thingy. just heard where 97% of alimony payments don't go to males, along w/ 95% of child custody awards and the vast majority of c.s. awards. we also have the honor of being the recipients of false accusations leading to incarceration for things we didn't do like rape, child molestation and domestic violence. we also seldom are the ones who file for divorce. I saw the other day where a brit who owed his X nothing, had been divorced for almost 2 decades and had (like his X) been remarried for over a decade, had the 'honorable' and 'equitable' courts award a large portion (million$) of his lottery winnings to his X.

and you thought guys thought lifetime alimony was bad enough? not for our western 'justice' systems. we are just beasts of burden for the underprivileged feminists and their mangina servants.
