Clinton on candidacy: 'One of the merits is I am a woman'

Article here. Excerpt:

'Hillary Clinton is touting her gender as among the factors that voters should consider when judging her qualifications for the presidency.

"Clearly, I'm not asking people to vote for me simply because I'm a woman. I'm asking people to vote for me on the merits," Clinton said while on the campaign trail in West Columbia, S.C., according to CNN.

"I think one of the merits is I am a woman. And I can bring those views and perspectives to the White House."

Clinton was reportedly responding to a questioner who said his daughter had told him that men have had the presidency for "long enough."'

Samuel Johnson is quoted as saying that patriotism is the last refuge of the scoundrel. In today's era, I think instead it's identity politics, not patriotism. The Hildebeast has nothing to appeal to voters with except her femaleness -- which isn't even a relevant factor in the matter of her fitness to be POTUS. What is relevant is her record, which speaks for itself. Knowing she can't win running on that, she's falling back on identity politics.

Scoundrel.

Yes, but one of your demerits is that you're an idiot.

Yep.
But the good news seems to be that more people are starting to get rather fed up of the whole identity politics game.
Hopefully enough so, that Hillary Rotten Cliterous will not be our next president.

...hopefully.

(P.S. sorry for the vulgarity. I'm just in one of those moods...)

If being a woman is a merit, there are others I would vote for, before her. Condoleeza Rice, for one. Just not Hillary. It's not as if she is our only choice, is she?
