"What Are Men's Rights Groups Angry About Now? Toilet Paper"

Article here. Excerpt:

'Earlier this week, Angel Soft brand toilet paper released an internet-only Father's Day ad honoring the women who, whether due to death or abandonment, have had to raise their kids on their own. In the commercial, attractive men and women who were raised by single mothers offer teary testimonials over a bed of soft piano music, concluding in a warm "Happy Father's Day, Mom" to the women who have had to be soft but strong, just like septic-safe, 2-ply Angel Soft brand toilet paper. ...

A lovely sentiment with which one could not possibly argue, right?

Ha, just kidding, this is the internet in 2015 and literally anything can send idiots into a blind, spitting, boycotting rage. The top comment on the video is "Great way to give the shaft to fathers on Father's Day." A post on Reddit says: "It's time to troll #HappyFathersDayMom and @AngelSoft." Within 24 hours of the ad's release, a men's rights activist named Tommy Sotomayor uploaded a response video entitled "Angel Soft Commercial Feminism Viciously Attack Fathers Day Masculinity!" And on Twitter and Facebook, there's a tempest in a toilet bowl, with people calling the ad "despicable," "disgraceful," and angrily asking the social media intern of a toilet paper brand why men don't get more attention, respect and deference in America. One of the complaining complainers simply and tartly summed up the collective sentiment by tweeting: "Don't ruin others father's day because you lack a father. Fuck off." (I will not even go into all the angry tweets and comments directed at "Angle Soft," the world's most uncomfortable and least effective toilet tissue.)'

... a magazine for men? Heh, silly me! Everyone knows men's magazines' primary purchasers are women since they think they're reading what men are.

But they're not.

It's being told that on the one day dedicated to fathers we're going to celebrate mothers. It's kinda like asking blacks to celebrate the accomplishments of whites on Martin Luther King day.

And a lot of men are not with their children on this day because their mothers took the children away. And Angel Soft now wants to suggest how heroic these mothers are because they had to serve as both mother and father.

The mother would not have served as both mother and father if in fact fathers had the same rights to the children as mothers have. But fathers don't. Asking us to celebrate mothers on father's day is asking us to celebrate the very person who took our children away--and demanded we pay her to take our children away because otherwise she couldn't afford to do it.

In fury, I emailed all Deutsch officials in NY, LA and London.

I told them I began posting their email addresses all over the web.

And I did... I posted it everywhere.

Initially, they apologized to me

But then others began to email them.

If you go to http://www.deutschinc.com/

The entry page now begins with human interest movies (BIG change since Friday when it was all about their advertising).

If you go to their CLIENTS link, you see ANGEL SOFT moved down to the very bottom.

And then there is this
http://www.thestable.com.au/tag/deutsch-l-a-angel-soft-fathers-day-ad/

I think Deutsch got burned badly

no, of course it's not about the silly "toilet paper".
but feminists and the media are notorious for misrepresenting men's arguments and issues (as you well know).
they know it's not about the damned loo roll, but they are going to present it, as if it is, to make the men complaining look silly.
hopefully most people will see through this bollocks! (hopefully).

oh, and i LOVE this!

. . .glad to see that this ad is backfiring big time, even if some not-so-bright author of this article wants to ridicule those for taking Angel Soft to task. Events like this give me hope for humanity.

I still can't get over the fact that a brand of toilet paper would shit on dads on father's day. I mean, how fitting that it's toilet paper, given that this swipe at fathers is total crap.
