Columbia’s Mattress Girl Has Made An ‘Artistic’ Sex Tape

Story here. Can just imagine Gillibrand's reaction to this. New York voters, paying attention? She's the one who's lionized this person right up to the last State of the Union address. At this point I have to wonder, is Mattress Grrl trying to capitalize off her self-styled victimhood as an amateur porn star? This is why I don't bother with fiction. The news is sufficiently bizarre. Excerpt:

'Emma Sulkowicz, the Columbia graduate famous across the country as “Mattress Girl” after she hauled a mattress around campus for a year to protest the school’s handling of her alleged rape, has apparently released a sex tape recreating her alleged rape.

Titled Ceci N’est Pas Un Viol (‘This Is Not A Rape’), the video shows two people, one of whom appears to be Sulkowicz, entering a dorm room and proceeding to have sex from four different camera angles. Timestamps in the upper corner of each camera are used to make the video appear dated to August 27, 2012, the date Sulkowicz claims she was raped by fellow student Paul Nungesser. Over the course of the video, Sulkowicz’s partner becomes violent and begins to hit her, essentially recreating the experience Sulkowicz claims she underwent at the hands of Nungesser.

The video’s release comes just two weeks after Sulkowicz graduated from Columbia, drawing renewed attention after she completed her project by carrying her mattress on-stage despite the protests of Columbia administrators.'

Well, it's not exactly a 'sex tape' as they aren't really h*ving sex, or nude (at least that's my assumption). But it does seem like a desperate attempt for attention. I am wondering who described this as a "reenactment" for the article? I ask, because in the "trigger warning" which I assume was written by Sulkawitz it specifically says "this is not a reenactment". Sulkawitz also says "this is not rape" and "don't watch this without my consent" after she releases it to the internet. I am inclined to think this may be in the accused favor as she seems very wishy-washy.

edit: I was wrong, I guess they do have sex and are nude

I think it is a cop-out and raises my suspicion when people create articles of fiction, but then hope the audience sees it as factual. They try and blur the lines. Didn't Lena Durnham do something like this by writing a book about her life* and in the book she claims a "republican" raped her when she was in college. (*I think she refers to her book as a 'fictional biography' or something like that)

In this Sulkawitz performance she wants to you think she is talking about her sexual encounter (I mean she even puts the exact date), but she protects herself from ever h*ving to defend it by saying it is "not a reenactment".

People who do this fake-fact stuff want all the attention but none of the responsibility.

For some reason I cannot see it. I recently did some clean up on my computer and I think I un-installed stuff. Let me know if any of you guys can view it.

I actually saw it on Thursday. (I am a Columbia alum and hear a lot about this.)

The video was explicit. You see her beasts, vagina and ass, close up from four cameras.

You see the man's erection. She sucks on it. Then he mounts her.

He then roles her over to penetrate her, anally. She whimpers a few times and then he leaves.

She crawls into bed.

The video is no longer hosted... that is why you cannot see it.

I think she has gone insane from feminism.

OMG!!!! you are kidding?!! Her parents must be so proud /s

Ughh, I wish I could see the video!

It doesn't get any stranger than this....Oh, and I take back my original comment, I guess it really is a sex tape. If anyone finds this vid, please post.

It is down due to cyber attacks.
But it will likely be back up.
And, yes... it was extremely explicit.

(I was actually going to submit it here right after I saw it on Thursday, but was so shocked that I considered it must be a fake... that some guys over on Reddit, created this video in her name... that NO ONE could be that stupid. I was wrong.)

What I find really fascinating are the comments over on Jezebel.com

"Emma makes DISTURBING video..."
"Emma's actions CONCERN me..."

And so on...

I think the video is DISTURBING only to those who had a high opinion of her to begin with -- to the rest of us, she is a self-aggrandizing, media-lusting, arrogant, liar with little to no talent. I have gone back to hear her speak and, despite living in NYC, she ends nearly every sentence with the rising intonation that afflicts, unfortunately, so many of our young daughters. She cannot even check that on an NPR interview.

Those claiming to be disturbed are showing their cards -- they believed her over Nunngesser.

Emma has lost it completely. We all, at some point in youth, learn a lesson -- a personal truth (a moment where, turning the diamond, the light is just right and we see a truth that, TO US, seems more absolute than the rest -- a flicker brighter than normal). And many of us, fortunately, grow out of this and realize that what we glimpsed is either a manifestation of one truth among many, or a manifestation of absolute truth beyond the physics of the Big Bang, or a mistake: we absorb our vision into our lives and move on. Not Emma. Emma, gripped onto the horror of rape, yes. But then she decided that the interpretation of that horror was hers to make. And now she has lost touch with reality. And is blinded to her own absurdity. I think that is why she made this porn flick. She just does not see herself objectively anymore. I really do think suicide is coming.

And if and when it does, the Jeszebelians will blame the patriarchy.

Here is another article about her sex tape:

... a fifteen year old girl is being raped and beaten.

And there is a little less concern over this...

Because of Emma's lies.

and that's what's sad.
women and girls actually suffer more, because the feminist agenda is more important than the truth. or the suffering of others, male and female, alike. (collateral damage, in their minds, perhaps??)
i wonder if they even realise this?
...somehow, i doubt it.
even if they did, would they even care?

I also realize there is an innocent young man here, too, whose life got ruined.

But I think he will emerge fine and with some money.

I feel for all the other young men falsely accused.

Emma is insane.

Here is a link to Mattress girl's porn tape. It is porn. It is NSFW as it contains nudity and actual sexual acts. If this is not allowed at MANN, I apologize, and Matt can remove it.

{redacted; see item 4 here. -- Matt}

My reason to post this is for proof that it actually is her (it certainly looks like her, she seems to be taking credit for it, she's not denying it, etc)

The fact that she made this video shows what type of person she is, and how she values sex, and many other things come to mind. I am sure you can draw your own conclusions.

uhhmmm... er... yes.
uhmm, no thanks, love.
i trust you. i'll just take your word for it, thank you, very much!

Looks like this video may have been made in her dorm room. On reddit a commenter indicates that Emma's said the vid was made over winter break. If that is true, this would have been before she graduated and presumably while she was still living in her dorm. I wonder if there are any rules about making porn in your dorm room?

Like I said before, I think this whole video thing is going to work in favor of Paul's case.

(Subject line spoken out of respect for your intelligence... but I have to say it in a way that borders on self-deprecation...)

A feminist get in trouble for filming porn?
NOOOOOOOO....
Only men get in trouble for that...

{redacted; see item 4 here. -- Matt}

But Matt, it was not a link to a porn site. And, actually, I learned about this one here on this site. Mensactivism.com originally posted this. It is a link to the Observer.com. And THAT contains a link to the porn flick.

I am putting it back below under the assumption you did not realize this. It was dierctly related to Kris' comment: these women made a porn flick NOT in their dorm (like Sulkowicz) but it THE LIBRARY.

NOW REDACTED BY ME: NOW I DELETED IT!!!

OK, now I just read that link: it was not general policiy you referred to, but DIRECTLY related to this particular issue. NOW I see why you deleted it. Sorry.

Geez, I learn more and more about the integrity of MRA people that you would stick to that policy.

Damn, I am proud of this place.

Hey, I just thought of something. In the video Emma never asks for the guys consent. She initiates the sexual contact. She's the rapists!

..and when I say "I just thought of something"...I really mean someone else thought of it, and I stole it from them.
