Colleges offer credit to students who enter ‘feminist thinking’ into Wikipedia
Article here. Excerpt:
'Fifteen universities worldwide — including Yale University, Brown University, and Pennsylvania State University — will offer college credit to students who “write feminist thinking” into Wikipedia.
The program, “Storming Wikipedia,” will be part of the Dialogues on Feminism and Technology online course developed by FemTechNet, an organization of feminist educators and scholars.
Approximately 300 students are currently registered for the course, Alexandra Juhasz, professor of media studies at California's Pitzer College and one of the course facilitators, told Campus Reform Thursday.
“A woman's point of view or feminist point of view is not yet expressed in relationship to women in technology in Wikipedia,” she said. “We hope that people engage in this project in respect to other themes as well.”'

F=ma is henceforth REVISED
NEWSFLASH!!!!
Feminist activists have edited the wiki pages on Newtonian Mechanics.
In the future, the historical equation "F=ma" which has been found derogatory to women, is now redefined. In the past, "F"orces arise when a "m"ass is "a"ccelerated.
"This is a sexist attitude, judging women by their mass," they say. "Clearly it gives in to the partriarchy that women are to be judged by their appearance and their size."
"Why should 'ma' be the subject of forces?" they say. "It is insulting to women," they say they learned in Women's Studies classes.
Henceforth, the fundamental equation of Newtonian mechanics will be known as
F = pa
"Let men, take the burden of forces," they say. "After all, they do nothing, take no stress, and they are privileged by the patriarchy. So let them carry the burden of life's forces."
When asked what "p" stands for in this revised equation, they immediately stated that such questions were a patriarchal ruse designed to oppress women.
