MSN: 'Here are 10 reasons why cats are better than men'

Video here. Lead-in:
'Coming on the heels of that animal/human empathy study, we're going to take what probably isn't a wild leap of faith and say that most of you, when confronted with a choice between your significant other (or the opposite sex in general) or your pet, would probably pick the pet. And while we're equal-opportunity pet owners, the dog=dude/cat=lady cliche exists for a reason. Enter this video. With reasons like "Cats mature as they get older" and "You can legally neuter a cat," it's probably not going to do any favors for diplomatic relations between men and women, but it will probably give you a laugh. And cause you to come up with a few reasons of your own.'

Cats are 'better' than most...
... people, generally. The ancient Egyptians were on to something: rodent control *and* cuddly little friend all in one. Not a bad combo.
But need I really comment on this item or the many that are produced daily listing the many ways that men just plain suck. Yet somehow, feminists insist there's no such thing as misandry even as they author such lists. Indeed.
Once again with the disparaging remarks about men and maturity
What is it with all the remarks about men lacking maturity? That may be the case in early adolescence when girls reach puberty a year or so earlier than boys, but boys tend to catch up and surpass girls by their late teens. It seems this attitude of "I reached puberty before you" sticks with girls throughout their life. I'm not so sure the behavior of a lot of women is particularly "mature" either, if you want to make a comparison with men.
Frankly, it's downright demoralizing being male and having to have one's "maturity" belittled throughout life, no matter what you do.
"Mature", defined
I think it has more to do with this: "Mature" is defined (as it pertains to men, anyway) as follows, from the classically nymphotropic perspective: "The attitudinal state wherein a man is ready and willing to live his life in general compliance with feminine standards of what constitutes male utility."
Examples of men "showing maturity" include but are not limited to:
1. Wanting children, or at least deferring to wife's/gf's desire for same.
2. Being ready and willing to finance #1 regardless of whether he wanted kids.
3. Supporting wife/gf financially even if she refuses to get a job and is fully capable of doing so.
4. Accepting fault in conflicts w/ wife/gf regardless of facts.
5. Putting up w/ miserable/abusive domestic life for the sake of someone else, e.g.: wife, kids, etc.
The list goes on. Remember, whenever you're accused by anyone of "lacking maturity," ask yourself this: If the tables were turned, would they be in such a hurry to label themselves as "immature"?
"Maturity" is a very subjective judgment. It can easily be used to shame others in an effort to get their compliance, just as society has used it for thousands of years to shame men into doing things many did not (and quite understandably) want or feel the need to do.
Of course, categorically rejecting all criticism from others is not well-advised either; the criticism may in fact be spot-on. But it's up to *you* to decide that for yourself, not anyone else.
Fuck 'em. :)
Another definition:
"Maturity" means no sense of humor.
Lots of women have no sense of humor. So, when we men joke or do something funny/silly, it's regarded as "immature." It has to be funny to _them_ to be funny. Like kicking men in the balls, mutilating them, taking advantage of them financially, etc. That sort of thing.

Correct answer: "No worries,
Correct answer: "No worries, babe. Enjoy your cats."
