Florida boy assaulted, stripped by girls-- no charges

What's telling is the mother's reaction, along, of course, with everyone else's. If her son were her daughter, I have no doubt she'd have no qualms about throwing the book at the girls. And of course if the girls had been boys, yes, they'd've been in jail and facing felony charges before mom even got a say. And where's the boy's dad in all this? Possibly the parents are divorced. But let's say the news could have interviewed him-- would they have?

Boys have, it seems, no one to protect them, their parents included. The current anti-bullying wave is largely about trying to deter others from picking on girls in some way. No one cares about boys. "Boys can take care of themselves." Videos like this one show that such is not always the case, and when it's true, adults need to step in and not shirk their responsibilities. But when it comes to boys, shirking responsibilities to them is the modern world's #1 pastime.

This is absolutely disgusting!

The girls should have faced charges for kidnapping (holding someone against their will), assault, invasion of privacy (posting videos or pictures w/o the permission of the child), and child pornography. They should be on a sex offender's registry for what they did. Seem harsh? Well, as Matt pointed out, no one would give a shit about the perps if they were male. Sadly, it appears no one gives a shit about the victim either for the exact same reason.

Funny how if a boy who is 2 years older than his gf, and she does anything consentual with him, according to the laws in some states he would be considered a sex offender. Yet, a group of girls attacking a boy several years younger, stripping him against his will, and posting a video of him naked doesn't even get a slap on the wrist.
Nope.. there is no evidence of misandry... at all..
