Story here. Excerpt:

'A Houston woman is being accused by authorities of stabbing a man to death with a stiletto heel in a high-rise condo.

KHOU-TV reports that 44-year-old Ana Lilia Trujillo is facing a murder charge.

Houston police investigators say officers responded to an assault in progress call at the condo just before 4 a.m. Sunday. At the scene, officers found Trujillo, who showed them the body of a 59-year-old man. He was found in a hallway between the entryway and the kitchen. Police say Trujillo was the only person in the condo when officers arrived.'

As I recall, when Rihanna and Chris Brown were driving on some California freeway, Rihanna intercepted a text message to Chris from another woman. She flew into a rage, took off her stiletto heels, and started pummeling Mr. Brown in the head with those heels. Mr. Brown "lost it" and smacked Rihanna.

This incident was viewed by almost everyone as a prime example of violence against a woman.

But stiletto heels ain't exactly wet noodles. They can inflict a lot of damage because of their shape. In fact, as this case shows, hitting a man with a stiletto heels amounts to assault with a deadly weapon. Rihanna should be in jail. Instead, she's the poor victim of an abusive man--who, in fact, was simply defending his own life. In today's world, a man acting in self-defense is guilty of domestic violence if his assailant is a woman. Sad state of affairs.
