'On May 28 – 30, leaders and advocates from 160 countries are gathering in Kuala Lumpur for Women Deliver 2013, one of the decades' largest conferences on girls' and women's health and rights. USAID is proud to be a sponsor of Women Deliver 2013. A number of our technical experts will present at the conference on the latest progress and challenges around family planning, maternal and child health, and other programming that addresses the needs of girls and women.'

Nothing wrong w/ it as such
The goals seem laudable enough. What's missing of course is an equivalent event for males. Imagine one day reading:
'On May 28 – 30, leaders and advocates from 160 countries are gathering in Kuala Lumpur for Men Deliver 2013, one of the decades' largest conferences on boys' and men's health and rights. USAID is proud to be a sponsor of Men Deliver 2013. A number of our technical experts will present at the conference on the latest progress and challenges around family planning, paternal and child health, and other programming that addresses the needs of boys and men.'
Of course the year won't be 2013. Not if USAID is putting it on. And to think, USAID is a US gov't agency, funded by taxes paid mostly by men or men's enterprises.
