Police say 28-year-old undergrad threatened herself with rape in Facebook hoax

'A student at the University of Wyoming has been charged with interference with a police investigation after she allegedly posted on an anonymous social media page that she would like to engage in angry sexual intercourse with someone named “Meg Lanker Simons.”

The University of Wyoming Police Department now says the posting was a hoax written by — wait for it — Meghan Lanker-Simons.

The kerfuffle began on April 24 when an anonymous posting was made to a Facebook page called UW Crushes. The page, which has since been removed from Facebook, was a forum for students to confess their desires for each other in secret. (Such pages are common on campuses all over the country.)

Lanker-Simons herself also chimed in, saying, “Actually, I want this to stay up. This is disgusting, misogynistic, and apparently something the admins of this page think is a perfectly acceptable sentiment.”

One rally organizer, Amy Pauli, alleged that some kind of menacing “rape culture” plagues the University of Wyoming campus.

“It’s not just about the page. It’s about the way rape culture becomes fostered among students,” Paul told KOWB.

Megan Selheim, who is employed by the University of Wyoming as a STOP Violence Coordinator, egged on the protesters.'

... starting a fire, then he/she and his/her colleagues put it out. The investigator concludes it was an arson and announces it at a press conference. Then at the press conference that same firefighter also speaks about the "arson culture" in the area.

Imagine a college with a 95% female enrollment. But there is nonetheless a strong element of feminist activism. Focusing on the Evil Patriarchy without actual targets to point to and go after is frustrating them, so they need to start posting anonymous rape threats against female students (maybe even themselves) in order to stir up outrage and get the college administration to... do what? Not sure. Fund something, maybe. Hold a rally. Dunno.

You may not need a student population that's 95% female. Maybe the more typical 70% figure is all that's needed.

But you know, stopping "rape culture" on a college campus is easy enough. Go single-sex. If you're really that worried about the safety of female students from male rapists, do that. (Haven't protected them from female ones, but whatchya want? Besides, as we all know, women don't do that, right?) However males could still get in, so put a fence up around the place with barbed wire and at entries, place only female guards and limit access to the campus only to women and faculty/staff. However male faculty/staff could present a danger, so make sure you get rid of the males and replace them with females. Finally, female students might get raped if they leave campus, so don't let them. Or make sure they're escorted by an armed female guard at all times.

No male students. No male faculty/staff. Armed female guards at all times. Campus secured to military/prison levels.

My mom went to a "convent school", run by nuns. It wasn't quite this bad but pretty close. Only male faculty/staff were allowed and only for limited periods. There was indeed a fence around the campus but as my mom said, it was to keep the girls *in*. Anyway, this should do it. Just do all the foregoing and you'll have removed all chance of any problem at all from people with penises. Congratulations!

The largest fire in Colorado history, which did millions of dollars in damage, was started by a female firefighter who then reported the fire. She was caught and jailed and fined, amazingly enough.
