F&F: NY Senate Proposes Creation of Financially Delinquent Parents’ Most Wanted List
Article here. Excerpt:
'New York State Assemblyman Alan Maisel has introduced Senate Bill 2704A, authorizing the creation of a financially delinquent parents most wanted list. If this passes, New York will join six other states with statewide online listings of parents delinquent in child support payments.
These states are: Delaware, Illinois, Louisiana, Mississippi, Oklahoma, and Washington. Of course, there are seventeen states where at least one county in the state publishes its own online list, including New York. The other sixteen states are: Arizona, Arkansas, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, New Jersey, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and Wisconsin.
...
The listing for each parent will include the parent's name, physical description, last known address, and photograph if available. It will appear on the Office of Temporary and Disability Assistance website and consist of up to 500 parents at one time.'

Used to be
Fathers used to be respected heads of families. Now they're criminals with their faces on wanted posters. If a man was having a hard time supporting his family, we used to help him out. Now we put him in jail.
But I guess that's the price of "progress." Women are liberated; men are put in jail.
