Change.org petition: We call for the immediate firing of Taylor Bigler by The Daily Caller

'Taylor Bigler, Entertainment Editor of The Daily Caller has written an article about the sexual mutilation and abuse of a man at the hands of his ex-girlfriend. In writing this article, Ms. Bigler somehow found this man's horrific injuries which may have caused permanent damage and the crime committed against him by his ex-girlfriend to be a humorous and positive event. If the genders were reversed and a man ripped the breast from a woman's body, would Ms. Bigler have made comments such as "As if this story isn't already good enough...." Good enough? We ask that Taylor Bigler resign from The Daily Caller or be fired by them. Nothing short of Ms. Bigler's resignation or firing will suffice.'

This sick double standard of the media making light of the disfigurement and sexual mutilation of males at the hands of women has to stop! Anybody who could find such a sadistic, brutal scenario to be funny is seriously lacking in morality.

The double standard in how society views male genital attacks vs female genital attacks is really disgusting.

I assume this article also went through the scrutiny of an editor. I guess nobody is phased by the victimization, pain and emotional suffering this man has gone through. Not to mention that his injuries might be permanent and effect his fertility.

The article did not even mention the status of the female attacker. What is her fate? If it was a male on female attack society would demand to know where the criminal was to ensure the public's safety and to watch justice be served to the fullest extent. I hope she is locked up for good.

I do hope the writer is fired as well as the editor. This article should be classified as offensive and hate speech. News organizations need to adopt a "zero tolerance" policy. MRAs should be watching and calling out all attempts of "humorous" articles regarding this story.

(last year?) the girls on the view got a good laugh out of it, except for the pretty one. she objected at the way it was being made fun of.

and let us not forget, that bobbitt woman who severed her sleping husband's penis to teach him a lesson, and then threw it out the car window, never served any jail time for her crime, which is typical. looks like men will get no justice from any court when the holy females are involved.

once again, the u.s. court system in its finest hour.
