Ohio mother charged with raping infant son

'An Ohio woman is accused of raping her 10-month-old son, videotaping it and sending it to her Michigan boyfriend.

Ashley N. Jessup, 24, was indicted in Columbus on Thursday on two counts of rape, one count of child endangerment and one count of pandering sexually-oriented material involving a minor.

Franklin County Prosecutor Ron O'Brien says the rape charge could land her life in prison.

O'Brien tells The Columbus Dispatch (http://bit.ly/n2XPEK ) that Jessup emailed the videos to her boyfriend in Battle Creek, Mich., where his ex-girlfriend discovered them and contacted police.

Jessup is being held in the Franklin County Correctional Center in lieu of $1 million bond. Court documents do not list an attorney for Jessup.'

Beyond words, beyond sick. No words in the English language to describe such a monster, a word that does not do enough to describe her. "Mother"? No, "Monster". More like it-- inadequate, but more like it. And as for her boyfriend? He's right there with her. Oh, I am not overlooking that bastard. Makes me wish I had gone to law school and gotten to Judge by now. My what I would do with them... life in solitary confinement? Maybe. Maybe I would. Or perhaps as a jail warden I would have been in a better place to decide just exactly how they would spend their days while in the custody of the correctional system. Solitary? Yes, indefinitely, alone. Sort of like Hell, perhaps only worse. About right. But maybe that would be too merciful, for undoubtedly their fellow inmates, knowing what they were in for, would have other ideas for them. Tough call, this. But no matter what way the punishment falls, it will, I do hope, fall hard.

Here is a comment under the story that one can assume will be the successful defense of this female predator:

As twisted as this crime sounds, in a civilized society we should not rush to judge. There are circumstances that could cause such outrageous and bizarre behavior. This behavior is so bizarre and outside the norm of society that there may be other explanations. As a physician I have seen patients with bipolar disorder who have progressed into mania. These patients have absolutely no control over impulses and often are hyper-sexual, do not sleep but maybe an hour a day, cannot control eating drinking drunk or spending. patient believe their behavior is normal and are astounded when, upon treatment, are told of the behaviors. To coin a phrase they are literally out of their minds. If she was actually manic, its more a matter of protecting the child and treating her than punishing her. Lets just pray the authorities get it right.

A male predator will never or has never gotten a response like this. It is always "Put him in a cell with Bubba!" Female child murderers have even gotten off by using the "NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF TEMPORARY INSANITY," card and it works! So, what is the big deal about playing with junior's pee pee and filming it? He is still alive, right? see below:

IN 2004 MURDERED 14 MONTH OLD INFANT BY CUTTING OFF ITS ARMS WITH A BUTCHER’S KNIFE. CHILD BLED TO DEATH.
FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. RELEASED 2008.

IN 2001 ANDREA YATES MURDERED 5 CHILDREN BY DROWNING THEM IN A BATHTUB; SEE LIZA DIAZ. INITIALLY CONVICTED OF MURDER BUT LATER RETRIED AND FOUND NOT GUILTY BY REASON OF INSANITY. HER ROOMMATE WAS DENA SCHLOSSER.

She won't "get off" per se, but she will be convicted of a lesser crime and all shall know it probably wasn't her fault.

Battered woman syndrome is about the only invention feminism has ever given us. It allows women to commit crimes against men safe in the knowkedge they will be treated as victims of some past iniquity enough to give them effective immunity. I guess that's because women are "oppressed".
