what she was talking about. guys get canned all the time for this
sort of 'pointed innuendo'. oops, sorry. did i say that?
i was buying some manly home repair stuff today and said something slightly
'off color' as we were joking quietly while researching something on the computer. after i said it (low level) we both looked around (getting to be a habit) to make sure no female was within earshot to possibably twist it to find offense. he then said he was joking just that day and one of the new female hires heard him tell his buddy he didn't want to watch his hardware area anymore, implying about all the small hardware over there. it was funny, and what makes work ...bearable. he said she overheard part of it and turned him in. he was called in for 'the talk'.
like everything professional victims love, it only works one way.
digital_dreamer The story was about the man proudly displaying a little earn before leaving again for th world cup (doesn't say what the ern was for).
When they return to the presenters, the guy says "I can't understand how something so small could be so impressive?"
She replies " well mark, you would know about that." then turns to the camera and says "thank you very much" and moves on to the next story.
.....
I love the prolonged look as a reaction. His expression didn't change, but you can see the intense frustration in his eyes and he doesn't look back to the camera like he probably was expected to...

Well, maybe they are having a sexual affair?
After all more trouble has been caused by that "small" 1.25 square inch invaginated area of the female crotch than anything else all through history.
I was switching channels last night and saw this footage featured. The female news anchor was remorseful about what she had done and how it gained so much attention and she wanted to set the record straight. Her and her male co-anchor joke around off camera like this and are just good friends. She said they had been joking earlier and that when he said what he did, it was just the perfect set-up for her to say what she did. It was poor judgment, but she was caught up in the moment and had no idea it would be seen by the world via the internet. Her male co-anchor also commented that they are good friends and that he realized it was all in good fun.
However, it still is a double standard as to how accepting we are of treating males like this compared to females
I'd like to hear the guys opinion off camera, as, for some reason, I suspect he's being told to say that (his reaction to the comment doesn't seem like friendly banter). regardless, doesn't matter how friendly they are, if the tables were turned, he'd be fired, regardless of her wish's.

Pushing it to call harassment
This would be mostly in the eyes of the beholder. She could have been just talking about men's interest in sports.
