How warm could the beer be?
There was an ice storm. The power was out. How warm could the beer be? Put the dang beer outside in a snow bank for five minutes, or break some icecicles off the eves of the house. Power lines are down because of ice on the wires and tree limbs so there's no shortage of ice around to cool beer with.
This, IMO, is a lot more about female power and control in "the nest," than it is about warm beer. Such heinous murder should get the death penalty.
Personally, I like hot chocolate in ice storms.
At the very least.....
This eldery woman can't use post pardum depression as an exuse. They'll find something to suggest she's the victim. Maybe serving warm beverages to women will now become a law. Any female given warm beer will have justification to murder.
I'm being silly, but nothing suprises me anymore.

I agree though I'm a tea drinker myself
Definitely sounds more like it was a control issue then anything else. The power was out for days, fridge isn't going to be cold.
She can't use drunkenness as an excuse (that one only works for women anyway) as she did not want the warm beer.
Her age will play a part in it though. Juries have a hard time sending some one that looks like their grandmother to prison. She'll (her defense attorney will I mean) obviously blame the dead husband for doing all the things she is likely guilty of - like being an abusive control freak with a bad temper. I mean, this poor old drunk woman had not choice she was scared for her life of this man and the warm beer was nothing to do with the power being out but rather was a form of torture towards her that he took pleasure in.
I love how the names are being withheld. I doubt that would be the case had the roles been reversed.
Every time some femnut mentions the superbowl myth direct her attention to this case. Shot 5 times for giving her a warm beer. Never heard of that happening on Super Sunday.
Mental Illness
I live in St. Louis, and have somewhat been following this case. All the relatives are blaming this on mental illness.
To which I have to wonder: why is there a gun in the house of a mentally ill person?
Woman murders man, and its filed under "Criminal Peculiarity"?
I am surprised that this has escaped notice, but take a look at where this story is on the webpage: It is under "Criminal Peculiarity."
Reverse the genders, and then ask yourself where this story would be.
