Their "retraction" is horse-cow. They need to put on the front page and explain why they are so quick to run stories like the original that they ran, confess to their misandry and vow to sin no more.
What’s so disheartening is how quick some “academics” are to make unsubstantiated claims in support of their subjective viewpoints. All through college, my professors emphasized citing credible sources in my research papers. When people graduate and get fancy letters behind their names (PhD etc.), they are no longer held to the same level of scrutiny that they were during their education. In many cases, “educated” feminists use their fancy titles to validate statistics that would not hold water in a college freshman’s paper. Instead of empirical studies, they produce unqualified nonsense. All college has done for these dim-wits is provide them with a more impressive vocabulary to argue with. Unfortunately, there are many sheepish and unknowledgeable voters (politicians) who swallow their bullshit hook, line, and sinker!

THESE LIES AND COMPLETELY BOGUS FIGURES WERE THROWN BEFORE OUR CONGRESSIONAL REPRESENTATIVES AND SOLD AS TRUTH. THERE WAS NO FACT CHECKING AND SOME OF THE ALLEGED REPORTS COULD NOT BE TRACED. AND WHEN THEY WERE LOCATED, THE DATA CONTAINED WITHIN THEM WAS COMPLETELY DIFFERENT THAN WHAT WAS PUT IN THE REPORT - AND IT THESE REPORTS THAT LEAD TO LAWS.

Notice he is talking about a male here.
Youthful blunder: Fuck some teeny-bopper, forget to wear your rubber.
Struggle: support her, her lover, and both their kids for 18 years.
Old age regret: still regret not having worn rubber. Also regret that by now, your third and current wife looks about like a mummy - without the tape on.
I think what you must mean is, on principle it is a house of cards, since it is based on lies, false statistics, and hood-winking the public. But on the other hand, it is also based on coercion, threats, and psychological manipulation. I don't know, that has been pretty strong footing for totalitarian governments in the past.

Good but not good enough

That's for starters.

How is it a house of cards if it's well-funded?
